Ipad Screen turned pixalated

My IPAD screen has turned very pixelated and it showing up green and red fuzziness on the screen? Anyone got any IDEAS?

restore in itunes... failing that, could it be a cracked screen?

I have tried the restore and still having the same problem, it has not been dropped it is very bizarre

Do you have an image of it? Something similar happened to my niece's iPad2. Couldn't get it working. It looked to me to be similar to when a monitor has a loose connection so presumed it was that.

One of my teachers brought a iPad to me that looked like that was quite bad as a laugh I hit it hard on the back and it's working fine now

Funnily enough, I've already tried that. We have some Dell laptops that need a good tap in the right spot to knock the connector back in from time to time.

I have heard of allot of people doing this and it surprisingly works for some, I did try but with no success just yet, maybe I need to hit it harder lol

I have used the hit it on the back method before with 3 different iPads and it worked on all of them...although one of them i had to hit surprisingly hard :-S

Think im going to try this method again and see if I have any joy, will post the outcome later

Drop it around 2 feet from the ground (screen facing up) a few times until the screen turns back to normal. I've fixed two iPads doing this. And no, this isn't a troll post!

We had this exact problem, Apple replaced the iPad under warranty no questions asked Their support are quite good when it comes to broken idevices, just ashame about their horrible, horrible OS!

Wait until the power is completely drained and then turn it back on.
