bladedanny Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Do you have an image of it? Something similar happened to my niece's iPad2. Couldn't get it working. It looked to me to be similar to when a monitor has a loose connection so presumed it was that.

One of my teachers brought a iPad to me that looked like that was quite bad as a laugh I hit it hard on the back and it's working fine now *this May or may not work for you. But the iPad was unusable before I did it so had nothing to lose

We have some Dell laptops that need a good tap in the right spot to knock the connector back in from time to time.

Crumpet Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Drop it around 2 feet from the ground (screen facing up) a few times until the screen turns back to normal. I've fixed two iPads doing this. And no, this isn't a troll post!

BassTech Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 We had this exact problem, Apple replaced the iPad under warranty no questions asked Their support are quite good when it comes to broken idevices, just ashame about their horrible, horrible OS!
