I'd check before you place any orders. Account manager informed me overnight that pricing has gone up due to TAP being pulled.

HP called us on Friday and was mentioned the "Academic License" on new stations, so it's most likely just a rebadged scheme as MS thought TAP might be mistaken for an airline

Guessing that's the same as such as we have a downgrade line to Win7 But yeah... sound be fine unless something major changed for all companies.

There have been changes made to the programme as of Friday - we're currently writing up an official brief for customers which will be posted on the website later today. I'll post the link here as soon as this has been uploaded.

We will be offering TAP - the qualifying criteria will be different. This will affect all global TAP partners, not just Stone.

Unfortunately not, only what's been communicated as a partner, which we're currently working up into a brief, as mentioned above. Hopefully this will make things a bit clearer - I will post the link here as soon as I have it.

It's more confusing that pricing can change overnight, considerably, due to a program change. One supplier knows it, others don't seem to be adjusting their pricing yet so customers are forced to draw their own conclusions.

We pay the spoon subscription so can get the latest silverware. We've decided to stick with Spoon v7 for the time being, although Spoon X is looking promising. Still we get a lot out of the subscription since we get good access to the rest of the cutlery as well under the subscription. With Cutlery Assurance we get a really cool tool that lets us repackage yoghurts and use them with any Spoons thanks to the virtual pot technology

I'm already lightened up, but, what was discussed two pages ago about spoons, yoghurts, sporks or whatever else bares no relevance to the point being discussed now which will be helpful information for those working in schools?

We were told by Stone that independent schools were covered and then sold PCs with Shape the Future licenses. Then they added a page on their site saying state funded schools only
