Monkey Island 1,2 (the name Guybrush threepwood still makes me laugh to this day) Kings quest 5 (Got stuck on this game for more than a year, then managed to complete it in a day) Spacequest - Oh the Janitor in all his EGA glory! Ryan Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I'm shocked and slightly disgusted that no-one's mentioned X-Com: UFO Defense (UFO: Enemy Unknown in europe). It's about 15 years old, and i'm still playing it to this day. It's been re-made and re-hashed so many times since, but nothing can touch the gameplay of the original. I lost a few summers as a teenager to Sensible World of Soccer (Sensi with management, buy and sell players, awesome awesome game).

Civilization 1 Old PC: Blood, Doom, Duke3d(jet pack action), Theme Park. Console: Mario, Mario Kart, Bomerman(snes with multitap). All these games kept me amused a lot longer than any of the current top titles.

Blood1 RULED...Doom(s), Quake 1, Duke3D, Carmageddon, Space Ba$tards..all are good, and I'm working to try and get them back in a VM. Well...most work "as is", but the danged build engine is a 'mare. I've got Shadow Warrior running under a win32 port though..

Managed to get most of the old games working well under ubuntu 7.04 with out any probs.

Joanne Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 My fave games as a kid were Sonic... the one on the master system was good! I have the others from the mega drive on game cube. I also like road rash, streets of rage and alex the kid. Also there was some fox game that was cool too...(mega drive) but can't remember its name!
