BHMS Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Details here Term time + training days only, the pro rata works out approximately 85% of the listed salary. A great job. I'm sure I will miss it when I'm working in my new role. PM if you have any questions.
witch Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Completely missed it here although saw it on the council website
Oaktech Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 85% of stated salary, so just under 22k and up. I might even go for it just as leverage against my current situation - and then give it to @witch!
X-13 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 What does it work out at, after pro-rata? About £22k - £24k... I think.
BHMS Posted June 10, 2014 Author Posted June 10, 2014 It's the Network Manager equivalent but without line management resonsibility which reduces it by 2-3k from the full blown network manager you would get a secondary. 1
LeMarchand Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 A job where people AREN'T complaining about the pay being poor! Luckily I was sitting down! Good luck to those applying - sounds good. I'd be tempted if it were closer, but I'd rather not need to move.
Oaktech Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) Well, I've been and seen the lovely people, now I wait to see what they reckon! Le Edit... They've offered it to me subject to refs... Oh bloody hell... what have I done, how am I going to break it to my colleagues? Edited June 25, 2014 by Oaktech

witch Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) OMG Well done!!! will you be all by yourself now then? Ahhhhhhhhhhh (Maybe they will offer you a proper NM salary to stay?) Edited June 25, 2014 by witch
Tall_Paul Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Get your notice handed in! Put the cat amongst the pigeons.
pcstru Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 Congratulations @Oaktech - nice to see some good news about someone's employment for a change!
Oaktech Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) OMG Well done!!! will you be all by yourself now then? Ahhhhhhhhhhh (Maybe they will offer you a proper NM salary to stay?) They have already said no bargaining, and I didn't ask. I will be all by myself, other than specific app support/ hitting fan support. I'm a bit anxious about the whole thing now... You know, fear of the unknown etc, etc... I know, I know, everything looks good - pretty much the same amount of money for almost half the hours, but I'm suddenly having a bout of imposter syndrome.
