It might not have been the same as your real SupportNet account or someone else has tried to login with it and locked it.

Well, I was on beta but got no email and account was locked on both live and test systems. I think it's open to all now as it needs testing. Reply to the email.

It will be replaced by My Account, which will be available for you to access from 09:00 GMT on Thursday 19th March. I'm really worried about that 16.5 hours where we get no support(net), but i guess you need it to transfer data. I thought you'd do it at a weekend.

We've been sent an email outlining the switch over times and have an email to use for support if required. That's good enough. Now we just have to get used to the new name : My Account. I think I'm gonna have to give it a friendly name like MAcc.
