nathan Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 We're after some new desktops with the following (ish) specs At least an i3 (4th gen) At least 4gb of RAM At least a 320GB HDD Must be fairly small (Mini Tower) Must be Windows 7 pro Quantity wise we're looking at around 90, does anyone know any decent suppliers?

sonofsanta Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 (edited) If you want new machines, built to spec, I'd recommend @VeryPC, Stone @Stone_Liz and Novatech - all British based, good warranties, excellent quality (I know the latter two from experience, lots of others on here can vouch for @VeryPC), and excellent value for money. Honest question: why a 320GB HDD instead of a 120GB SSD? Price difference isn't much for custom builds and I cannot recommend SSDs enough. 120GB is fine for installation footprints if you save files centrally to a file server. The performance bump is worth the outlay IMO. 120GB local storage should be more than enough if you're storing most things remotely.
