X-13 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Batman: Arkham Knight announced for PS4, Xbox One & PC - Batman: Arkham Origins for Xbox 360 News Just saw this on twitter. I think I may need to finish Arkham Origins quickly...
ICTDirect_Dave Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Oh My! I still need to finish city and play origins! But yes please!
chazzy2501 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Damn, still got to buy City in the next steam sale..
LosOjos Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Oh My! I still need to finish city and play origins! But yes please! +1 - I started City a couple of weeks ago after spending about 3 months on Asylum (family makes finish games take a long time!) Hopefully it'll be released on PC by the time I clock Origins!
Sagima Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Quite liked Asylum, was thinking of playing it again last weekend. Got bored with City after a couple of hours
featured_spectre Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Only thing on Asylum I need to do is get 3 bats on 2 of the fighting levels and I will have maxed that game!
d0pefish Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Origins was dire compared to City, too short in main storyline, quite buggy (to the point of game breaking bugs), let's hope they improve on it this time, and don't focus solely on "look ma, i can drive me a batmobile"

synaesthesia Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Quite enjoyed Asylum & City, and this trailer looks spiffingly good. Something else to tempt me into a PC upgrade? Hopefully not Life in the old beast yet.
3s-gtech Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Asylum was one of the best games I've ever played, City was great but much less focused and compelling for me. Origins was not made by Rocksteady, so it's not comparable - not a bad game by most accounts but it's like comparing IW and Treyarch CoD games back in the MW1 days.
tmcd35 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Arkham Asylum was a fantastic game! Being slowly going downhill since. City picked up about midway through but always felt rushed to complete the story ("you only have an hour to do xyz") so I missed a lot of the side stuff. Origins was more Spiderman than Batman. Spent most of the game swinging from one side of Gotham to the other just to trigger the next cut scene. Good to see the games back with Rocksteady. I'll probably get Knights for PS4. To my mind they need to go back and look at Asylum which was more like The Last of Us in it's delivery. The world just open enough to keep the liner story moving along at a nice pace. City, and worse Origins, were too Open World which I don't think suites this particular franchise. And on that note, Origins story seemed way too short come the end! Batmobile sounds insteresting. Also, maybe they can take a leave out of GTA:V's book and allow for fast switching between Batman, Robin and Catwoman?
benjie Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I love the series of games. I found origin main story line to be short, but still enjoyed it. Trailer looks mint for Knight. By the looks of it they are not developing it on the Xbox 360. Thus that means I will probably will end up playing on my PC.
Grey-gear Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Looks intresting, I was trying to think to when in the arkham line of games does this take place or if it is a new story line like last Batman Game.
tmcd35 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Looks intresting, I was trying to think to when in the arkham line of games does this take place or if it is a new story line like last Batman Game. Origins story was immediately before Asylum, then City, Knights is rumoured to take place after City. Origins wasn't a new story line, more a prequal to Asylum and think the closing scenes of Origins and opening of Asylum are pretty close to one another.
abillybob Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 I like the Batman game, and this game seems very great. But the thing I want to know is it offers the Android version? No just no. Looking forward to the PC release My computer is downloading stick of truth as I type so hopefully that will keep me going until then, still very much into Rust anyway!
