We use Mr Muscles for glass and one of those magic cloths for putting on and one for wiping off, found it to be absolutely brilliant but then we do have the hard screens which help.

Never tried it on a soft TFT screen before so would try it first.

Something that doesn't *&*@!" smear! Our screens are a mess and the stuff we use just leaves a smeared godawful mess when it dries.

Thanks!

I got a spray bottle of LCD/Plasma screen cleaner for £1.79 from B&M. It also came with a microfibre cloth. Works a treat and the cloth stops the smears.

KFC Wipes always worked for me, much better than many of the "specialist" ones you get.

@nephilim

So you're saying that the KFC was finger licking good, which free's up the need for using the wipes for other things ( there original intended purpose ) lol

IPA from the science department.

^ That. Usually in a 50/50 mix with distilled water.

Polish off with cotton wool pads / fleece cloth.

+1 I've always found that to be good.

You can buy IPA from CPC as well if you don't have a science department or they wont give you any! PPC104 - PRO POWER - IPA SOLVENT, 1 LITRE TIN | CPC

It's also generally pretty useful stuff to have around for cleaning electronics.

Just to be clear, this is Isopropyl Alcohol we're talking about not India Pale Ale!! :)

We use Wilko window cleaner1 and a soft cloth. We had a tub of popup screen tissues, but they were dried out. A quick squirt of the window cleaner and they worked fine, but we didn't get any more when they ran out.

1. Other window cleaners are available; Wilkos is the closest place we can buy it.

I've always found the key to getting screens nice and clean while being streak and smear free is to clean the screen while it's cold/cool.

Flash Wipes are excellent at removing the grime, then a quick wipe over with a dry microfibre cloth and you have a nice clean smear free display.
