I felt slightly ill during it at times when hanging by on hand off cranes etc... it was very scary when I've hung off one hand before on things and slipped (not off cranes!) but know it can hurt and easily done.

I don't mind heights too much (was usually floating on a roof of the building at times sorting cables / football / bag retrieval / Boarding smashed windows etc..) but it was the hanging one handed off a crane over a city with no safety kit made me and feel ill. If I had a safety harness and knew it was safe and to be trusted I'd happily have a go hanging off a crane and take some amazing photos of a city just so long as I can be safely got down in 1 piece and no chance of falling and dying.

Nibiru Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I partially cured my fear of heights when I stood on the glass panel at the CN Tower in Toronto. 1400 feet straight down, and it frightened me so much I decided nothing could possibly scare me so much again And it worked, I can dash up and down the mobile scaffolding tower in the hall when the projector filter needs changing without breaking a sweat now. This video clip of the radio antenna rigger climbing up the outside of a broadcast tower still makes me feel ill though

Back when it became mainstream we were called all sorts and accused of breaking the law when we clearly weren't. Although I think the highest accolade I was most proud of was when BBC's Gordon Burns called my group "a thrill seeking action group".
