Well its the first day back after the summer hols for me and the first thing on my mind is - What weird and wonderful ideas will @VeryPC Al and the marketing team at VeryPC come up with for this year's long awaited Socktober 2016? :confused:

 

It seems sooooo long since we had a VeryPC competition. My Paint.NET skills are fading :(

@VeryPC Al, you're keeping very schtum on this...

Hopefully that's because you're busy beavering away on ideas to make this the biggest and best Socktober ever! :)

I heard a rumour that would be *no* competition this year.

 

I intend to spam the @VeryPC usertag until a compo is confirmed.

The bottom line is that freebies cost money and when and if an organisation decides to do them is up to them and their accountant.

 

IF they decide to do freebies then have a nice surprise.

 

You lot sound like a bunch of 5 year olds nagging a parent for sweeties. As a parent, I know it would make me adamant that it wasn't going to happen :D
