Good news if you thought you’d missed out on the full benefit of the Microsoft® technology access programs (TAP). You can now get the original Windows® National Academic Licences at a fraction of the usual cost with any PC from VeryPC until we run out of stock.

Even though the qualifying conditions have changed, we are now able to supply the remaining stock from our initial purchase of Windows National Academic Licences with any of our PCs. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster having to adapt to all the changes – let me sketch you a brief history:

 

Initially VeryPC did not qualify to supply MS products as part of TAP. Finding out that our competitors were suddenly able to undercut us by so much on PC prices was a genuine worry for us, as I’m sure you can imagine. As soon as VeryPC was made a Microsoft Named Partner, we put in a big order to make sure we were going to have enough for all our customers. Then the conditions changed so that only small and entry level mobile devices qualified so it looked like we’d be unable to use the licences with our desktop PCs and laptops. However, it turns out that we are now able to supply the licences we purchased before the conditions changed according to those original conditions, which were:

 

1. Licence must be part of a new computing device from a named Microsoft partner (i.e. VeryPC).
   
2. School must be at least 50% government funded.
   
3. School must teach pupils in age range 5-19 years old.
   

Basically, right now is the perfect time to contact VeryPC to discuss your last minute summer refresh plans. Until our stock runs out, we can supply Windows National Academic Licences at a tiny fraction of the usual cost with any PC. This could potentially save you £1000s or enable you to buy dozens more PCs than you thought possible.

 

Remember though, and I cannot stress this enough, we only have a limited stock, so we’ll supply our remaining original Windows National Academic Licences on a “first come, first served” basis according to when we receive your purchase order.
