I'm waiting for them to copyright "One". OneNote, Xbox One, One Note. May we'll see Windows One, Surface One, etc.

I just want to see how they convince the courts that they invented "One".

Just like Apple trying to convince them that they invented the word "App"

Actually, I find Bing Maps to be quite good. The angled view they have is really great quality. :)

However, I have heard that Microsoft have confirmed that Bing Maps will not be undergoing rebranding to One Direction. But no denial over a rename for Windows Defrag either being renamed One Piece. ;)

As for the near future, there is speculation that to compete with the smartwatch they will be launching their own e-clothing line...called One The Bra!

Agreed. I find it better than Google Maps most of the time. And more up to date for my area! The imagery of our school is around 4 years old here, unless you zoom right in, in which case it is around 10 years old!

OneDrive is live.

Microsoft OneDrive launches with Dropbox-like bonus storage and new Android app « The Verge

The real change is that OneDrive users will be able to earn additional storage in a similar way to Dropbox users. Microsoft is introducing a referral bonus of up to 5GB, which is made up of 500MB for each friend you refer to OneDrive, up to a maximum of 10 friends. OneDrive users will receive the free storage for referrals, and friends who sign up to the service will also get 500MB each. You can also earn 3GB of free storage by enabling the camera backup feature in Windows Phone or the iOS and Android apps. In total, OneDrive will offer up to 8GB of additional cloud storage on top of the 7GB free default allocation. If that’s not enough storage then Microsoft is also introducing monthly payment plans for OneDrive to boost the overall storage.

Apps: Android, iOS, Windows Phone

It seems to be having an identity crisis at the moment:

At login it says...

After you login it then says...

Yeah I noticed that just now.

My phone has just updated to OneDrive

I got 100Gb free for signing up to their updates email (free space only lasts a year) and you get 0.5Gb for referring someone and so do they (which seems to work when an existing user uses your code too - glitch?)

I now have 169Gb available - I've got around 20Gb photos uploaded but I'm loathed to use free space that expires as I might have to pay to keep it unless another offer comes along (yeah I know this is their plan!)
