I was just wondering if anyone has publish or knows anyone that has published a website and if so

What site?

How many hits does it get?

Does it take much time to update?

Im always working on little web projects but i've never published any as yet.

You'll find that most of us on here have built sites at some time or another. I've built our school site in Joomla, done lots of work in Moodle and Wordpress as well as basic php sites. Outside of school, done a few sites, mostly in Joomla. Time to update depends on the content, but a CMS certainly helps.

My colleague has built an entire CMS from scratch in php, as well as a remote network/file access system.

I built a site for my mom's business, an online store for my dad's business, a site and php forums for the non-profit organization that I chair. And several other little projects along the way.

It's a lot of work at first, but just an hour here and there now to update things.

Just a few. (It is my job, after all! :))

My company have built websites and web applications for small non-profit organisations, universities, PCTs/local authorities, big political parties and more. Each one varies as to how many visitors they have (some have thousands per month, others only in the 10s) and how much they need updating - both in content and in features.

Some sites survive many months and years without major changes and new features, whereas others are constantly evolving.

What sort of web projects have you been working on?
