Talk to me about a replacement to RM Success Maker

We currently use RM success maker - we have an entire room dedicated to it! When we move away from RM in the summer, obviously this won't work any more. What are my alternatives?

Why won't it work when you move from RM? it's just a software product.

We use to use Success Maker on our SEN PC's, when i pulled us off an RM Network and went Vanilla back in 2004 we still ran Success Maker, it does not need RM Connect to work, and its not even made by RM, its a rebadge job like most of their stuff.

We use Successmaker 1.7.2 on our SEN PC's here on a standard vanilla network without any problems, we used to run 1.3 but I was able to get a free upgrade to the later version.

Jeeez, haven't ran SuccessMaker since the days of RM Connect 2 on Windows 95.... those were the days!!

 

But yeah SuccessMaker isn't RM specific, so long as you have the correct licensing you can use it.

We used to call it SuckS..tMaker, in the days when it was trying to teach english languaeg with an americaniZed spelling.

 

We ran it on Netware , can't recal what Database it used now... must be 10 yearssince we got shot.

Alternatives? We use several online programmes now, like Method Maths, Fast 4 Word, stuff like that. We still have Successmaker running, but not sure how much use it gets now.

hello i was wondering i know this is an old software I'm trying to locate a complete copy of the original successmaker when i was in school we ran it on windows 3.1 and either a Novell server or stand alone

i have been trying hard to find a copy i remember it came on a lot of CD-ROMs their was a solo cd and a network version if anyone could please help i would be grateful if anyone can help my email is [email protected]

put in subject successmaker. i am a vintage computer software collector and love stuff from my childhood i had a copy of it but the disks got all scratched up. i also have a copy of ibm classroom lan administration if anyone is in need. i have that running in my home on 20 old ibm pc's
