If you use the A-Z from the floorplan screen, and by use i mean scroll manually to the letter you want, it will show you the location of that one company. The search function works well too.

The problem is, they have got a monkey locked in a room somewhere updating the company links to the pins, and they only seem to have got as far as 'My...' so it might keep updating, for those that have it working.

That's why some companies end up reverting to the external map. Or so it seems.

The frustrating thing is that the locations are not complete and there are no identifiers on the floor plan. I can't pin down where the Smoothwall stand is ... Though it might seem obvious due to the other numbers around it but there are 2 rows labelled as F ... Is it opposite the Lapsafe stand?

It is adjacent to InkJets and toners.

edit: and so yeah.

apologies @Millgate i thought this was a generic thread, it seems to have derailed so much it could be a Die Hard film.

to redress the balance : Go To Millgate for cocktails F124 (conveniently 4 stands down from Smoothwall / edugeek)

edit2: actually, pins only show if they have linked, so i don't see the smoothwall pin.

Ah ... And so the penny drops. I should have expected the stand numbering to be logical. Lapsafe is F186, Smoothwall is F137, Inkjet and toners is F142 and Konami is F129 ... Silly me for expecting them to run in order!

It's all about size ;)

Is there a floorplan available on their website at all (like a PDF of the show guide?) - I find it far easier to see what's on and plan my routes using (shock horror!) pen and paper.

Not at the moment. The first time you are likely to get something as hard copy will be the show guide on the day.

Thanks - I'm assuming that's because the plan is quite fluid up until the day?

I doubt that's the reason to be honest as stands will have been allocated months ago and the companies buy a particular size although you'll still have empty stands where people haven't shown up, they'll have still paid though.

Let's hope that isn't the 2013 version too!! Or blank

Hahaha, someone needs to go costume shopping for @russdev

Lol

Anyway as been pointed out in previous years. The stand has been better than first year it was there. Also as @jonimpero pointed out hopefully things will be even better this year.

:( because my SLT found out about the free link2ICT bus I am now not allowed to drive down. Even though the bus will get there late and leave at 3:30 to come back! By my reckoning I will have about 4 hours to visit 9 stands and counting, I may just have to drive down and sod the expense claim

I think you have all missed the most important stand .... E250 BAR :D I notice Google and MSFT are by it so expect less sense than usual out of them ;) Also will have to have words with my good friends at ParentMail who also seem to be by it :D
