Hi guys...

Anyone had a look at ictforums.co.uk? Seems like some good stuff on there, and most of it's school and education related.

Might be worth a visit.

Lots of our members came from there to begin with.

Don't knock http://www.ICTforums.co.uk ... there is always a place for other forums, often with difference needs.

I actually miss ICTTechnician.com and it will always have a special place in my memories ... ok, it was fun whilst it lasted and it would not have been a bad place to keep going.

Jonathon, over at ICTForums.co.uk, is a good bloke and we shouldn't knock what he or other members are doing. Yes, it is not a high postage site but that is nice to take it easy for a bit ... I daren't go back to http://www.Certforums.co.uk as I can't keep up with the messages on there and here (and a few other places.)

It is nice to have members that are also in a few other places as you then get to find new things out. I would never have learnt about OSX Deployment if it wasn't for a mention about MacOSXLabs.org on the JISC Mac Supporters list.

Yea.... edugeek killed off ICTTechnician.com ...

Nah ... Mark left education. That is what killed it. Even though it was getting fewer threads than here it was still a good site and I enjoyed some of the discussions on there. Unfortunately there is no archive of those discussions anywhere now ...

It was quite amusing watching you get flamed at times too! You didn't see the posts that had to be moderated!

I could no longer afford the time required to get the site up and running and to maintain it properly, so at the moment it's in a dormant state and free(ish) to a good home it anyone fancies reviving it or stripping it for it's useful parts!

Bah ... you should have let them have a go ... my favourite bit was being called pseudo-manager ... and saying that my experience must have been from years ago.
