To far me :(

It's 153 miles from Ashford but 163 from Preston (where Ric and I travel from). Not far at all, really. How about spending the night like some of us do :)

Sweet, I work in Kettering so it's literally up the road. Will ask the boss if he can give me a lift :)

Should hopefully be able to transfer the lessons I teach to the Friday (finally the rotation system has it's use) :)

I’ve just checked the mileage from where I am, 112 miles. Not too bad... considering I've done the trip to Kent a fair few times, that’s around 100 miles! :)

Hmm 183 miles for me. Whats the accomodation costs like?

There are a few places like Travel Inn and Travel Lodge in Kettering and a Holiday Inn in Corby ...

Travel Lodge is around £26-30 depending on how far in advance you book it. For others you would have to visit their sites.

178miles for me this one. I reckon the next EduGeek North conference should actually be somewhere in the North, Eg. Durham ;)

Hmmmm ever think Craig is lazy and CBA traveling, or was that him offering Bish Bazza to be the host venue for the Northern Conference for free :D:D

Or in Aberdeen? :p The REAL north :D

Or even Shetland Isles (where I am originally from)

@ZeroHour: It would be great to have one in Scotland IMHO. However, due to politics the Specialist Schools Trust has no clout in Scotland so are not able to help us out in the way that they usually do :(

Yeh I have a funny feeling the geek does not have the same presence in Scotland as it does in England. SETT next year would be good but I am not sure how many techs go to that other then me.
