There are still some glaring bugs too. Had one jewellery heist where someone went outside, shotgun in face to someone sat on a bench. Shouting to get down. Civilian sat there, ignored the shouts and calmly dialled the police.

It meant no amount of stealth was possible as a civilian was prepared to get his head blown off while ignoring a masked robber in front of him

Will see if i finally need to replace my 7 year old machine, have only had to replace graphics so far as its sill seems to work with games.

I suggest avoiding the art heist until higher levels. Day 3 is absurdly hard even on normal. >.<

Only done it once and took a few attempts.

 

Finally got me some charges so I can do safes in no time. On nightclub we can be in and out in minutes on any difficulty and not have to worry about being detected.

 

Make some serious cash but don't know what to do with it now though

Did that one stealthy from start to finish last night on overkill difficulty you need the bagging bodies, smooth talker and domination skills to do it easily (we were able to kill all the gaurds on day 1 and 3 leaving only a few cameras to avoid )

Got a bit bored with it now. Got the explosives so can do a few missions in seconds. Not much to aim for now.

I started running Ukranian Job and Mallcrasher fast. But now they have made it so if you do any mission too fast you have a 99% chance of getting an Escape mission as follow-up.

To be fair, Ukranian Job needed something as it was basically farming XP. I'd watch people join a game, play that job and moan if you weren't out in 35 seconds, then soon as they got paid, quit and go find another one.

 

Last night I played offline on Ukranian Job, completely stealthy, no alarms tripped at all despite two drills running. It was a lot more enjoyable that way (taking about 13 minutes) than the "run in, c4 the safes, out in 15 seconds" rubbish. If the only reason people are playing the game is for that, why bother.

 

Just to add, I originally levelled up the tech to c4, but it's boring. I've now respecced and gone a mix of ghost/mastermind. it's a lot more fun playing the stealth way than doing every mission like it was given to you by rambo

I predominately play in a pre-made of 4 people over Teamspeak so the C4 is a godsend there. UK/Mallcrasher runs were for squeezing in a quick game whilst waiting for the group to form on TS.

ah yeah dont get me wrong, in a proper team with friends or people you know, thats fine. it was when you used to look on crime.net and had about 25 ukranian jobs on overkill and people would just jump from one to another and only play that level.....then get snarky if you wanted to actually fire a shot at police or get more jewellery.

i've been doing a few missions on offline mode just with me, so i can get the feel for the ghost more. i can pretty much do the art heist by myself, completely silent (all 3 days), it just falls apart on the actual last few sections of day 3. but it does give you more of an appreciation of the gameplay than those that just want to gear up as much as possible, go in guns blazing as a squad and fight it out. much more of a satisfaction when you can get out alone and silent..........and when some random tit doesn't run over the glass ceiling on day 1 and have it shot out so he falls with a painting in to the middle of swat......
