JJonas Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I wonder what happens if you drink a bottle of Neverwet?
Gatt Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I wonder what happens if you drink a bottle of Neverwet? Probably something nasty and horrible and best left to professional nutters..
L3OUGH Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 professional nutters.. Who would you class as a professional nutter? Write to them, I want to see what happens.
featured_spectre Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Spray some on the soles of your feet, walk on water, you are now jesus...problem religion?
LeMarchand Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 (edited) Spray some on the soles of your feet, walk on water, you are now jesus...problem religion? Pah! Chiun, the Grand Master of the Glorious House of Sinanju was walking (well, running across) water back in the 80s. From around 1h 51m, and yes that IS Captain Janeway as the film's romantic interest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCUmMR4groE Edited June 28, 2013 by LeMarchand Typo. Let's hope Mater Chiun doesn't hear I didn't get his name right...

CESIL Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 It's witchcraft I tell you...the work of satan... ...on the other hand a coating of that on our tent would mean always packing away a dry canvas
mac_shinobi Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 It's witchcraft I tell you...the work of satan... ...on the other hand a coating of that on our tent would mean always packing away a dry canvas I don't have a tent, not yet at least, although not a bad idea !! Similar sort of idea to rainx ( think thats what it is called ) that you put on ya cars wind screen to stop the droplets from forming
RabbieBurns Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 i saw this somewhere recently and didnt pay much attention, but after watching that video its pretty impressive. Although it makes the CEO's tshirt look pretty plasticy when they are poring stuff over him. Does it make it rigid or does cotton stay naturally maleable? But its a great idea for beer cartons, sleeping bags, tents. etc.
Arthur Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 a coating of that on our tent would mean always packing away a dry canvas Someone should make a tent out of lotus leaves. The superhydrophobic coating is free then. Similar sort of idea to rainx I wish everything was coated with these products. The amount time and money you would save by not having to clean or wash things would be immense. You also wouldn't have to worry about dropping your phone down the toilet either. Ultra-Ever Dry (similar to NeverWet) Liquipel (for smartphones and tablets) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eN4wb-wovlU&hd=1 Some clothes already come with water repellent coatings. I wish more did though.
Arthur Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 NeverWet? More like OftenKindaWet - The miracle water repellant we've all been waiting for is a dud « Slate
