tmcd35 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Wow!!! Does the ps4 even have a racing game on launch? Sore subject! #DriveClub been pushed back to middle of next year - Still FREE on PS+ when it does arrive

PeggleStar Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Project Cars for Xbox One & PS4 Project Cars will feature ten game modes, including Franchise, which sees players begin as a kart racer, before progressing to disciplines including Rally, GT, Le Mans and more. It also includes dynamic weather and time effects, as well as user-generated content, team-based management and a cloud-based social network service. This looks like it might be good
ZeroHour Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Sore subject! #DriveClub been pushed back to middle of next year - Still FREE on PS+ when it does arrive Thats not exclusive though? and I had a funny feeling your not getting the full game, just part of it (like GT Prologue) but not sure if thats right or not. Is there not even a Need for Speed game? DriveClub PS4 (although it has 6 months to improve) vs Forza 5 (starts around 2:15 mark)

tmcd35 Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Thats not exclusive though? and I had a funny feeling your not getting the full game, just part of it (like GT Prologue) but not sure if thats right or not. Is there not even a Need for Speed game? Very much is a Sony exclusive. Yep, you're right about the GT Prologue comparison, still - enough for me! The only other driver I've heard of - sounds great, looks good, cross platform - is The Crew, but that too is postponed till next year sometime. Got to admit, Forza 5 nearly had me buying the XBox One over the PS4. It's only my PS+ subscription that has kept me Sony loyal.
PeggleStar Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Forza 5 does look great but they have gone quality over quantity with this one as it has only half the cars and tracks that Forza 4 had.

Some are getting a copy of Killer Instinct and some are getting FREE XBOX ONE'S I fall short of the 100k (bout 92ish) but I have a family member's old account details around, he got the email, but for Killer Instinct

You realise you do get free games on xbox 360 with gold too now? Forza 5 does look great but they have gone quality over quantity with this one as it has only half the cars and tracks that Forza 4 had. I am not sure if that's supposed to be a good thing or not. To me quality over quantity, they can always DLC them later (forza did give away car packs etc for free as well as having pay ones in the past)
ZeroHour Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Demo video of some of the dashboard features:
X-13 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 You realise you do get free games on xbox 360 with gold too now? Repeat after me: "it's not free if you have to pay for something to get it."
tmcd35 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Repeat after me: "it's not free if you have to pay for something to get it." Yes but £3.33 per game (assuming 12 AAA titles per year and using no other Gold/PS+ feature) is a little more than a bargin (PS+ gets about 40 games per year so £1 per game? £1 for Batman Arkham City? Give away).

tmcd35 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Oh dear... Xbox One to introduce Achievement: You've sat through an entire episode of Emmerdale Achievement: You've pushed play on a Jim Carrey Movie Achievement: You've paused Who Framed Rodger Rabbit for more than 30sec

JJonas Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Oh dear... Xbox One to introduce you missed one Achievement: You've watched the same bit of Basic Instinct 12 times
sted Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 you missed one or even achievement: Kinect understood what you said first time and did it without shouting
JJonas Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Early Xbox One delivery reveals 500MB initial update, 17 second startup -- then banned (update 3)
sted Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 500mb update well thats a straight no for me then would take ages on 700k
X-13 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Early Xbox One delivery reveals 500MB initial update, 17 second startup -- then banned (update 3) Lol. I'm assuming Major Nelson's response is code for "[censored] we didn't expect the media to find out about this..." That's Xbox all over. Ban first, ask questions later if the media get wind of it.
JJonas Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Apparently MoonlightSwami is going to the launch event as a guest of Microsoft.
X-13 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Apparently MoonlightSwami is going to the launch event as a guest of Microsoft. Why is he being punished twice for a distributer breaking the release date?
