I keep getting fined for wrong headlight usage (or something along those lines). Plus a few speeding tickets whilst flying through roadworks....

That's what I do, turn on all lights including fog lights at night and all you get are cars flashing at you.

Worst thing I had was pulling out of a factory, crashed in to a car, went over him so the cab was stuck and I couldn't move. Then started getting fined for wrong way offences! I couldn't move and I was being fined for going the wrong way.....three times!!!

I still have the limiter on, bad enough at 55 thank you! Had a number of near head-on collisions on the road to Aberdeen from too fast corners or admiring the scenery instead of the road. Currently aiming to expand my London garage and start hiring more drivers.

 

Also modified my controls so I accelerate and brake with the triggers instead of the left stick and improved my stability greatly.

That's probably because I was sat in the passenger seat of a car you were in control of....and now my charred body is at the side of the road

I got back in to it the last couple of days. Now have two garages and 4 drivers plus me.

The Goat Friskers empire is slowly building!

i got 1 garage and 1 driver... i need to save more to by a 2nd truck.... there all getting the bottom of the range truck.... i get the top of the range...

I have a driver, got him to do long distance first then balancing out the training. He makes around £7000-£10000 a trip. I make between £18000 - £24000 (3 levels in long distance, 2 in fragile, 1 in just in time)

i think mine at the mo is averaging 24k a day. though a couple of 50k+ jobs have helped that.

I run it like this by level 10

 

Long distance - get to at least level 3

Fragile - atleast level 2

High value - atleast level 2

just in time - atleast level 2

Eco - atleast level 1

 

I miss ADR because it offers no value (that said, Eco doesn't save much until level 4 anyway, but worth that extra saving). By level 10 I am pulling in around £40k per drop.

You say Eco dosnt help much... it has with my 700bhp Volvo... 120/100miles down to 70-80/100miles. Does help a little as ive lost my 700L tank.. (700+200L now)

just in time - 0

Eco - 1

You dont see real savings until level 4 onwards IMO. Rank 4 gives you 25% savings. By this point you should have an engine which gives you 8% or so as well, so brings to 1/3 fuel decrease. This is a god send. By level 6 it is at 35% + max engine efficiency (which I think is around 20%) so you can save a small fortune. I kit out all trucks with the fuel efficient engines as soon as possible.
