I voted that i was interested but might not be able to get time off, before i read the entire thread. Looks like i might be able to make it after all :) Will of course have to ask her indoors for permission though

The venue is only an hour or so away from me so I might be able to make both days without the need of staying over in a hotel. :)

 

Staying over is part of the experience, I live 1hr away from it and have done the home and back again but when your not leaving till 3am.....

Just to let you all know I booked the venue today so the ball is now officially rolling.

 

*Which also means tons of work for me now to do!

I am sorry to say that I can't make it this year, our annual summer holiday (yes - it is a little early) has been booked and paid for. Whilst I won't be far away from the venue the rest of the family would not approve me sneaking off for the day. I hope there are plans to post videos (even just audio would do) of the sessions so I don't miss out completely as I won't be in a position to watch them live either.

Just to let you know we shall have the registration page for the conf up and running this week. Our apologies for the slight delay, but Easter and my going down with flu for a week have delayed things slightly.

FFFUUUUUUUU~ 2 buses and 3 trains [or 2 buses and 5 trains!] resulting in a ~2 hour journey... I think I'll give it a miss.

 

Coming from the other side of London: 2 trains, 1 tube, 4 hours plus another hour of walking. ;)

ohh if I can afford the petrol and hotel ill be there.

 

not been to one before.

 

If anyone in Kent/en route that wants to share petrol costs then I dont mind giving lifts if I can make it :D

Well, due to HMRC messing up my tax code, I don't think I'm going to be able to make it this year. They took a chunk of my pay when they shouldn't have and I won't get it back until next month.

I have a feeling I won't make this one due to workload / family / recently moved house (moving tomorrow)

 

It will be the first EG-led conference I have missed :(
