AceDaz Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 We are planning to buy 30 iPads for a new room that is being refurbished, along with 2 Apple TVs. Is there anyone near the Preston / Blackpool in Lancashire area that already has this in operation? We have 1 Mac and 2 Mac Mini's and tried installing Meriaki on them but they don't show up on the dashboard even tho the client is installed. Could do with seeing some iPads in operation, how they sync and how new apps are managed. I already have Apple VL accounts, but its very confusing. Thanks

It's a bit of a faff to set up initially but after that its easy enough to use. I use the Meraki MDM to manage the iPads and deploy the apps and it works very well. Plus it's free!

Squip Posted February 28, 2013 Posted February 28, 2013 Have tried both AirServer and Reflector. Got on better with AirServer because everything is already in place (no need for HDMI to VGA adapters etc) and hella lot cheaper that Apple TVs, but it is probably worth trying each first.
