How is the finance package? Were you using FMS before? How does it compare?

Update- I've checked this morning and it's working now. Must have just been a much longer delay than I was expecting for the layout to push out.
-
We've had some iPads 2s and iPad Airs at the school for years and have successfully been managing them with Mosyle (free version). We've now bought some new iPads (2021 version) and the apps have pushed out to them no problem, but pushing the Home Layout to them does nothing. Any ideas??

Bee-Bot and Cargo-Bot for basic programming.

I've had a similar issue with some staff accounts on ChromeOS Flex machines. They login ok and then sometimes when going to any of the Google Apps, it shows a window to prompt them to login again. Haven't got to the bottom of it yet!
-
Just noticed some of our CloudReady machines starting to switch to Flex. Has anyone got issues with it asking for another sign-in, straight after signing in at the login screen? I log in as normal and then click the Gmail/Drive/Docs shortcut and a box appears saying 'Add another Google Account for James'.

Thanks! That did the trick. And I've noticed that the Mosyle profile on the iPad says 'Not verified' on all of the iPads, but now says 'Verified' on the one I've re-enrolled. Not sure what caused it to become unverified in November? But we don't have many iPads, so I can quickly re-enroll them all. Thanks again.

Yes, it was due to expire on 27th April and I renewed it on 25th. It's been a while since I had to do any enrolment. Do I go to the device in Mosyle and use the 'Remove device' command? If it's not receiving the device info or getting app installations pushed out to it, then that's likely not to work either? They were all enrolled via Apple Configurator, rather than Apple Manager. If I manage to un-enrol one, I'm guessing I'll need to go back to AC2 to re-enrol?
-
Nope. I got a new one on 25th April and uploaded it to Mosyle.
-
Yes I did, a few weeks ago.

Another update - I've also tried connecting to my mobile hotspot (to rule out our school filtering being the issue). Still no commands getting through.
-
Update - Photoshop Express has now finished loading/installing, but the new app I pushed this morning isn't appearing yet.
-
We're on the free Mosyle plan and it's been working fine for years with little intervention but I've just come to install a new app and found it's not being pushed to the iPads. I can load the Mosyle Manager app on the iPad and in 'Device Info' it has a tick next to Enroll, Supervision and Internet. If I click Force Push, it says Success! I renewed the Push certificate a couple of weeks ago. The Mosyle portal shows that they haven't connected/updated apps since November and the Photoshop Express app is 3/4 full and says 'Loading...' but doesn't get any further. I tried rebooting the iPad but it returns to the same position of loading and stops. Any ideas?

We don't have it set to delete profiles and we still get them filling up really quickly after factory resetting.
-
Yeah, same as others have said. It happens frequently with the older iPads. I drop them from a foot or so off the ground, flat onto their back and bingo!

Login loop on Chromebooks - anyone else having this issue today?

Is anyone still seeing the Google login loop issue? I didn't get any yesterday. -

We were getting the sign in loop for staff and students and only the students have Senso installed. So maybe the sign in loop caused the Senso reloading issue, but I doubt fixing Senso will fix the Google sign in loop. We'll see what happens today. -

Yeah, that seems like an obvious fix and something you'd think would happen already?
-
Surely they get logged out at some point? By the next user who picks up the Chromebook and signs in with their own account?
-
Yeah, several of us have raised tickets. I did just before the summer holidays and they asked me to collect log files, which I couldn't do on the Chromebooks which were full because they were too full to generate or save the log file. So until they figure out what's wrong, I've just been 'powerwashing' the ones I come across with the issue.

Apart from jthompson's tests at the top of this page, which showed that 'Erase local data' didn't seem to do anything.
-
Well done for testing so thoroughly! Interesting that the 'Erase all local user data' doesn't appear to do anything. But the question remains, what is actually filling up the storage? Is it just a bug that makes the Chromebook think that it's full?
-
Have you reported that to Google? Something is definitely not working correctly. We only have two Play Store apps assigned to users, so it can't be related to that. Our users all save downloads to the Google Drive and even if they saved it locally, VERY VERY little is downloaded so would not be eating up GB's of storage in such a short time frame. We used shared Chromebooks for 6 years without the drives getting anywhere near full.

It's ridiculous that Google is taking so long to solve this. It's clearly a widespread issue and they should be able to replicate it themselves.
