Are any other schools getting "Account Disabled" when logging into ClassCharts this morning? I am trying to work out if it is a Trust level issue or a national outage. ** UPDATE ** it is back up for us now, it appears there was an issue with the renewal date at their end.

What was the fix that was implemented on 31/10 at 1pm? Am I right in assuming it is working for everyone else now?

I completed that yesterday and got a new key, I am still having the same issue where it isn't taking and the error message keeps appearing.

Any update on this? we are still having the issue today.

This will only work as a points total if each behaviour type is worth one point.

You can download and use the offline version for free for now to get used to the system.

You can use a nested if then else on x and y to generate a 1 if true and a 0 if false, then total the 1's and 0's and have a nested if then else to work if the total is 2.

EdulinkOne by Overnet Data is a good one, same cost as SIMS Parent App but a lot more functionality and control at the school end.

In regards to the missing marks for Census, I have seen this issue before in my previous job as a SIMS consultant, I seem to remember that you can tease out the missing marks by changing the type of group you search by, if you have searched by selecting all year groups try choosing the whole school group type instead.

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with the address validation service in SIMS today... it would appear that http://www.capita.co.uk has become http://www.capita.com , do we think that this could have broken the address validation service? We are getting 403 errors in our smoothwall which matches the 403 error when browsing to http://www.capita.co.uk.. Any input would be gratefully received!

Yes it is in a separate aspect along with another that stores the numerical difference, both are very useful to use in SIMS and also PowerBI.

Do you calculate whether the student is on target or not in your MIS? I have this calculated in our SIMS marksheets in the background so I can then refer to this in PowerBI, the added benefit to this is the result is Keystage agnostic making analysis a lot easier.

As far as I am aware the documentation has been moved online, the only one you will get is the landing page which links to the online documentation.

We have purchased EdulinkOne, might be worth throwing into the hat as well, our teachers use if for registers and our parents are starting to use it to access their childrens' data.

I have already suggested change #2, may I suggest one more: 6. Report Cards - adding the functionality to complete a report card from the register screen, at the moment the teacher needs to go back in to SIMS to complete the report card, this makes it difficult to suggest EdulinkOne is a one-stop shop for teachers.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I was wondering if someone is aware of a way around and issue I have come across... We are using the blank registers combined with absence report and signing out sheets method, the issue is the absence report doesn't include students out on school trips as this is a V code which isn't an absence. Any ideas?

It means a mark is required but there is currently a "-" as no other mark has been recorded.

We are continuing with our multiple timetable licence but creating one cycle that all tiers work in, once we have worked with one timetable for the year we will uninstall the multiple timetable licence and continue as a "normal" school.

What I would be tempted to do is create a data review using formula for each grade column using the VALUE formula and then point the MEAN formula to the new columns, with this you can at least see which true values are being used in the MEAN formula.

Do all the result columns use the same gradeset? do they all definitely have values against each grade? What is the aspect that the result is getting saved to?

Are you able to post a screenshot of your formula that is generating the incorrect result?

Sorry I jumped a few steps there, the column with grades in it has an aspect attached to it, this aspect has a grade set attached to define which grades can be recorded and what they are worth. The easy way to see the values of the grades from the grade set is to right click on the column heading of the grade column and select "View Aspect Details".
