They are trying hard to not use Netsweeper and Problems together. Was talking to ****** (NO NAMES) monday and they hinted that there was a filter problem on the monday then wednesday they had a memory leak with a firewall... built up to a big problem friday. So could sound like it started off a filter problem that over load the firewall, but that's speculation.

I should have been more specific. The 10.120.x.x range is the old office address that is now just for the IT network office, so only we can access youtube, facebook... in case we need to deal with a facebook bulling issues... If i remember right email [email protected] and tell them the IP address you want adding and few days later bingo. But i dont know if you need to be on a different network or what, so would call them (westfield) 1st.

Well we seemed to have a better internet filtering just b4 when the proxy servers where falling over (CLEO), i don't know if the Netsweeper was offline temporarily I don't want to be negative about a new system. I of all people know new things don't always go to plan right away and i "could" see lots of benefits (Without knowing actually what this netsweeper will offer in any detail) of it, its just annoying me as its taking me more time to do my job. As for the scanning, yesterday was the worst, several links where just endlessly "scanning page" without actually doing anything, or after 20min timing out. I JUST WANT INFO ABOUT THE SYSTEM!!! especially how the filtering from school will work. Will there be a limit on what we can unblock?

CLEO have an interesting naming convention - porkpie, Zuul, Fez, Cap, but to name a very few! But thanx for the ideas folks

Not only is tatooine a good name, but nice to know I'm not the only one who has a few servers at home (only 5 now), But we cant all be like Ric who i do believe has a server farm in multiple racks

We are looking for some new server names but we tend to pick a TV or film and get names out of it. i.e Star Trek - so we have Voyager, Enterprise, DS9 Star Wars - OB1, R2, D2, 3PO and my latest personal favorite - Dune (Running Spiceworks) But with not much going on TV / Film wise we are finding it hard to make a few names up, and we all know a good name makes the server better. So, What have you got? and i will steal them
