New Phone? IPhone4 - HTC Desire? Other?
AWicher replied to bjohnny42's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Sorry, 1st post a bit crappy! Free Voice Guided Sat Nav. (Not having to pay 50quid or more a year to keep it upto date) With downloaded Maps so when i'm on holiday abroad I can get from A to B without spending a fortune on data charges, or if i'm off in the wilds and can't get a data signal. Google Nav, well integrated. Downloading Podcasts on the Go. (I don't want to have to connect it to Computer to do it) DoubleTwist (Even sync using wifi) Syncing to Exchange Server, mail and calendar, not interested in contacts. (I think both can do it without messing about) Just does it, and does it will. Good Camera with a Flash. (5MP or better) Both have them. Front/Back 5MP Browsing the Web. (Both are good) Several good browsers to pick from (Firefox is an option, but not the best one ATM) Sports Tracker with uploads to Map My Run. (Both have apps) Several top apps will track, at mo i'm using SportsTracker. I would like to be able to wipe the phone remotely if I lost it. (Not currently possible with Nokia I have). Mobile Me for IPhone is there something like this for the desire? Exchange will wipe, or other apps such as Wavesecure will do that to. -

I have a teacher called Tim Watts, not very funny you say. Well our username policy made him TWatts, we soon changed him to TJWatts

If you want to replace home server you might like the Acer Aspire Revo R3610 I have one running server 2008 and exchange 2010. Though, i know someone who has same pc but installed windows home server, benefit being home server has a good backup service.

Found out that Richard Stallman aka GNU guy, is going to be doing a talk at UCLan on 2nd March 2011. Due to restrictions on accommodation size, you need to register for this event, but it is free. The lecture will amongst other things cover hot topics, such as the impact of recent projects such as Wikileaks, on the global digital world and wider audiences. More info on my site wicher.co.uk, or head to TheIET.org registration page

Nice venue! any pre educonf meal this year? I'm game for a BBQ that decking area looks good for one. Idea of Dos_Box putting BBQ together reminded me of: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://sharepointmagazine.net/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/image36.png&imgrefurl=http://sharepointmagazine.net/articles/a-humble-tribute-to-the-leave-form-part-7&usg=__T-_KM7V34ZuAbnL3Olax5bkF9Uo=&h=299&w=400&sz=277&hl=en&start=0&sig2=ZazmnvdS2RE7GuX8Mpeitw&zoom=1&tbnid=i3yLgJTbWJvNvM:&tbnh=137&tbnw=183&ei=XIRKTenXIYLOhAf_i-2sDg&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dhomer%2Bbbq%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26hs%3D1yH%26sa%3DN%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26biw%3D1152%26bih%3D711%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=283&vpy=79&dur=146&hovh=194&hovw=260&tx=151&ty=101&oei=XIRKTenXIYLOhAf_i-2sDg&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=24&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0 -

love the colour but the striping seems to be like watching one of them 3D tv's at #BETT Nice PC BTW!

i would go with @Rydra interpretation, but then we have the division of each class group. But, it only seems to be the people in that class who would then workout where they fall. so take 50k as household income as middle class, a family earning 80k to 100k would then in my view become the upper middle class. Don’t think lower middleclass works though. And vice versa upper class have their own measurement they would use.
