I did the ccna exploration which covered this. It's actually easier to wrap your head around than the other modules. Best thing to do is read.over and over. I did and walked out with 97% average over the 4 modules and the final exam was 95%. Can't complain at that

I have to agree. First past the post is horribly buggy in its use. A person with 30% of the votes can rule where 70% didn't want them too. We need mixed member proportional representation. It's a system which you elect locally who you want and who has done good but nationally you select the party you want to be in power. In this instance UKIP would have 12% of the seats, conservatives with 35% etc...whilst locally the best man for the job is there. Feel free to Google it if I haven't made it clear how it works.

I agree that labour didn't cause the economic meltdown, but they were very very ill prepared and their answer was to sell the nations gold at low price which put us in an even worse position as we have little reserves to fall back on. They then did the "conservative" thing and swung in lots of cuts which made things worse, as it put people out of jobs and on to benefits. They left the nation in a bad state, much like how the conservatives left the nation in 1997. Yes labour picked it up and we became a strong economy, but it all leads back to the economic crisis of 2008 which will forever be lumbered at labours door. As for myself personally, I am glad to have the conservatives in. I personally have been much better off, I am happy with the choice of the nation, and whilst I feel a proportional representation would be better we have to make the best of what we have. Currently the EU referendum is a big one, and I can see the vote going either way. UKIP will be pushing for the "less immigration" stance to try and get it going that way, conservatives dont want more powers handed to brussels and labour want to keep things as is. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the "nationalists" are going to vote to leave the EU.

They need 51% to make something law. However they don't ALL agree on things. There have been things where under Blair the labour party didn't vote how he wanted and it damaged his standing.

On the bright side...we will have a completely new set of leaders to vote for next time. This being my 3rd election, I've voted 3 different ways as my political knowledge has changed. 1st election I voted labour as I enjoyed the public spending boom as it helped me in my job. 2nd election lib dems as I wanted the reduction in uni fees and a few other promises they were looking at giving 3rd - conservatives. Frankly under their government I've had a better standard of living than under labour. I don't pay as much taxes. I don't have to worry about my concessionary travel costs as it's covered. I've found employment much quicker. I'm not saying I am 100% conservatives but they are the ones that has screwed me over the least.

Does anyone have an office manual for 2007 or 2013 they'd be willing to share. Doesn't have to have anything relating to SIMS or interaction with other programs (beyond office), but should cover enough on word, Excel and outlook for a person to go from basic loading to doing charts (excel), tracked changes and mail merge (word and excel) and how to utilise outlook to full capacity. Ideally aimed at people that have never used them before. I'm volunteering some of my time for an old folks home so I can help them out. All help appreciated.

I usually ask for additional screens. If you've never used more than one you have no idea how helpful it is. 1 screen dedicated to helpdesk (though this may get changed in new work to have one big screen for the office so we can all see when something comes in) 1 screen dedicated to Outlook 1 screen dedicated to remote software 1 screen for everything else.

Many people that have the latest of everything whilst on benefits tend to get things on credit and pay back minimal payments to make it affordable. I've done it myself when I've been unemployed. Do not lump people as the same because you DON'T know their ins and outs.

Where I worked previously, the RAID for the VEEAM was 0, 2 days later, I convinced the line manager it had to be changed, so we got RAID10 instituted. 3 months later, there was a drive failure, so they were thankful it got done so quickly.
