It's a legit tactic. Haha. Swap everything for high density...managed to get 50k in 1 grid square and this included industry, and high density commercial.
-
Also a nice little trick...1x1 housing...fricking insane for population. I had 100 1x1 houses and had 1000 population...changed everything gradually to high density and this boomed up to 4000...without increasing traffic flow or anything. Was nuts.

I'm making my own assets...getting rid of the ones from others...man...so much fun

1. Extract volume of calls. Volume of completed calls. Who completed them and the percentage each person completed 2. Once a month 3. Techs - 80% turn around. Senior tech - 90%. NM - 95% (based on the fact some calls need to get escalation to the next level depending on access needed). 4. Yes. Tax year end. Financial year end and when there are new starters. 5. Not massively. Techs do the bulk of the work with senior techs over seeing or training as well. When senior techs get a call they're expected to have the experience to close it. If domain administration is needed it goes to the nm. If it requires external repair such as printer repair or copier repair then that gets done. Also I figure that new starters account for between 5 and 15% of the call out stats for the first 3 months after they join. After this it drops. Before you ask....all staff get given training on all aspects of what is running and get given sheets as well as an intranet to look at with videos. Just sometimes they dont. However if after the 3 months they're still asking basic things we've gone over, an email goes out to them, and their department head to either get them further one on one training or they get a talking too by their dept head to buck up their ideas and review the materials given (everyone signs a document that they have received the training and acknowledge that they should review paperwork and intranet before coming to us).

I did that...made well over 20m and couldn't feasibly spend it on everything. Even all the monuments didn't tally to that much. Placing them pretty much had all the power, medical etc sorted. I now play with unlimited cash to get the city on its feet then play with it turned off...much more fun if you don't know how much you've spent. But here is a nice challenge...place water pipes under roads only...Makes for a more challenging map mode as you can't just blanket the tile.

How did it go @Sunnyknight?

You're welcome. Lol

here is the WORST part of traffic in my town... Mods used - Unlimited money (thats it) Assets - over 500 in my asset library. http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/29612379371203043/EDA122C1413780198178D7D352DD2CF9DC45D23B/ *edit* That is an asset water treatment in the back...with 100% treatment of the water so there is no pollution

Nearly 60% of your roads were 1 ways or highways...I watched the traffic to see where they were going...upgraded the roads from 6 lane 1 ways to 6 lane 2 ways. You had a shocking volume of 1 way inlets for residential as well...meaning people could go in but not come out so that had to change.
-
oh man...half hour on just your roads...no matter what fix I put in for 1 place, it backs up elsewhere....also...your use of 1 way roads...nothing short of shocking. Didn't mean for EVERYWHERE!!! I have upgraded most of your roads. Its fixed around 80% of your traffic issues, you still have some, but I'll let you work on those. lol. In short @Sunnyknight....start again. http://www.filedropper.com/zomg2_1
-
Right...sunny...it's fixable but gonna cost a wedge. I can do it if you want but don't expect a large positive amount of money when it's done...
-
Screen shot it for me @Sunnyknight...can't download the file on my phone.
-
I'll take a pic of my new starter...I put the unlimited money on but everything else has to be unlocked as normal. Basically you need good access to your motorway or else traffic blocks up quickly. Try having a couple of on/off ramps per section to ease up traffic.
-
Mazuma pay what they advertise generally...I've not had a reduction offer from them. As for Cex...any scratch or defect or anything and they chip as much off the offer as possible.
-
I put in the details for my Xperia z1 ultra...Apple will give me 46. Mazuma will give me 70. Cex will me 139...who would I go for...lol

[wanted] Some networking gear/tower server for small network

no, they're not managed, they're a fair few years old as well. They've been replaced here with 1GB switches. -

I have a few 3com 2024 switches (10/100)...think we're looking for about £30 (which would include P&P)...may also be a patch panel (Cat5e)...depends on how much more we can pull out of the cabinate. -
yeah you don't want a big section of commercial, that will cause gridlock. I work on the ratio...every 12 squares on a road has a 4x4 square of commercial. Seems to work quite well. Stick a park on the opposite side of the road, and bam, house prices go up, everyones happiness goes up, you get more money.
-
Commercial should be a "sound" buffer for industrial if they're nearby. But generally industrial should be its on section and commercial darted around.

I would like to know if anyone can recommend a company or person that would buy the following before we scrap it. 3x 3com baseline 2024 switches 1x 4 port PCI Network card and potentially a large HP Laserjet printer. I know some companies only buy or recycle in bulk, but if we can get anything back on it then that would be a bonus.

I know you weren't quoting me, but I believe that if you earn it, it is yours, it shouldn't be taxed beyond reasonable levels...and anything over 40% is unreasonable in my opinion.

Britian? lol

@zag according to that quiz...I am... 63% Labour 63% UKIP 54% Conservative 13% Lib Dem I struggle to believe that the selection I made put me so high with labour and ukip and a bit below conservatives when I find conservatives the least bitter of the medicines to swallow.
