  1. haha, no I'm not, but the mrs is. And she eats odd stuff at the best of times, I just figured I'd join her in putting food I never normally would together, some with great results!
  2. Not sure if this is the right place for it, but here goes. What food combinations have you tried, that you thought would be awful, but actually worked really well together? I'll start Raisins and a light coating of harrissa paste Strawberry jam and cheese sandwiches Macadamia nuts and pickled onions. Anyone else got any odd ones?
  3. Carl....practically covers america and a large chunk of canada, and Europe!
  4. I have one issue with the game, and that is this. Once you've chosen your class (Dragon knight, assassin or what have you), you are limited in your progression. However, for guilding, the plan is this (at least for me). Have an imperial, and max up his smithing abilities. Use him for the guild, in that he can make any armour, and convert any armour into imperial also, so makes for a good crafter. I will have another one who can do potions and elixirs. As for stealth, it is of no use in PvP, goes for WoW as much as it goes for GW2, and same for ESO. Stealth is pretty much a PvE thing, and it does work if you apply it correctly. The mission where you wear the disguise, you wear it and walk slowly around town and collect the bits you need, and you have to be careful of the sentries, as they can tell the difference between friend and foe. It does work, just give it a chance. Also, you can go invisible as an assassin, I had the perk that allowed me to do so. And as for your "once you pick you're limited", this was posted just this morning by a dev on the closed beta forums. "ESO provides player with many skills and a player may want to redistribute points after some time. You’ll be able to reset your skills, receiving room to try new things or undo choices you aren’t happy with. Though it is possible, it will cost you money and the price will be rather high. Thus it’s not a cheap option that can be used every hour. Expect to pay between 1000G and 50'000G depending on your level"
  5. I'm being tested for diabetes and gout tonight. Fun times! My ankles (and leading up to my knees) are immensely painful, but ah well. Grit my teeth, get on with it.
  6. @securesystems, the streaming is great for me, I've not had a problem with it. As for the next day delivery, definitely worth it as I make more than 3 orders a month, so I definitely get my moneys worth. Bare in mind, even with the price hike, the streaming cost if you were to pay separately for the the lovefilm online service is £59.88 for a year, so the remaining £19.12 is used for the next day deliveries. It works out very well, especially if you factor in christmas or birthdays, you can have lots of deliveries for that cost!
  7. That's a pity...
  8. That mission. That was fun. Lol.
  9. Add me to your friends list nephilim2k. If that doesn't work look for nephilim hydroxy. Lol
  10. At this stage no point downloading call of duty. You'd be so late in the game you'd be owned all the time. Go for battlefield as people are still buying that's they move from Cod or go for Titanfall as it's new out. As for buyin on the store...I do at release or if there is a sale on which makes the game cheaper than elsewhere otherwise it's physical media.
  11. nah, it varifies the files, I had that. It runs through, varifies, whatever it doesnt like it will redownload and fix.
  12. There was a 4GB patch, so if you downloaded a 21GB file, then another one, dont worry, its normal.
  13. Edugeek has a mumble, but dont know the details. I am not sure what I am happy and annoyed about...happy I dont have to do coldharbour again, or annoyed that I lost my level 50 character!!
  14. Called and she checked. she has the BK version. SAM-DVD-BDF5100-BK according to the box
  15. she doesn't have the XU version I dont think. Will go round tonight to be sure.
  16. set your time zone to EST, CST, or PST and route through a proxy. should trick it to think its the US. We had the option when we loaded it up though. So perhaps we got a slightly different version to you?
  17. We set the zone to US on set up, from there, we put the file on for the zip to be seen, then updated the firmware. On the new firmware we downloaded the apps.
  18. a secondary port, nobody is stopping anyone from having a secondary port at all. My phone could accommodate one with ease, as could an iphone.
  19. We had the same issue. We called samsung, they gave us a specific download attachment which allowed the machine to see the ZIP file. I dont know if I still have it but it will be worth giving them a ring anyway.
  20. Think it means the plug to the phone. Most will still opt for the USB socket however I would have thought.
  21. @Little-Miss you in?
  22. righty, for now, it should be a better theme, less painful on the eyes!
  23. I've stopped BF4 for now. Mrs will still play and I will still play every so often but really gonna go towards Elder Scrolls Online. I did look at titan fall with the beta, but it didn't pique my interest.
  24. Cant do that, they need to provide an actual charging port, not a port with an adapter.
  25. the plugs can be changed, but Europe uses a common 2 pin plug for the most part, and the UK uses the 3 pin. If anyone were to change, it would be us. Also, I can imagine "European" versions of Apple products going through the roof on the open market unless they change the entire product range (which will annoy people as they have to rebuy their adapters etc)
