You do know trains, metro, seaports, buses etc count as services as well...stick a metro nearby and have some buses run by. If you subsidise the public transport, you also reduce traffic considerably (by my calculation traffic dropped by around 1/3)

Ground polution? Water polution? They'll prevent a building to upgrade. How are they looking as I can't really see on your map well.

I am honestly glad that I didn't pick up the game fully and gave it to my stepdad. I played on his rig (marginally worse than mine now), and I am not blown away by it. I sunk a fair few hours in, but just didn't like the feel of it. Glad you're getting enjoyment from it though.

Do bare in mind, only the core got upgraded, curriculum rooms etc, stayed as they were on Cat5e.

When I worked in a school, we factored in cabling upgrades once every 10 years. However, I was there for 1 refresh when Cat5e between buildings got replaced with Fibre, and the core infrastructure got upgraded to 10GB and Cat6 respectively. I believe in 2020 they'll be refreshing again if they haven't closed down by that point.

Excellent news

It was only after complaints from myself, my boss and 2 of the techs that we got the additional roles. We were over worked, often pulling 50-60 hours a week, so rather than bill for overtime every month, they agreed that we get additional staff. The trade-off was that we could finish at 5:30 every day and go see our families instead of working until 8pm each night and getting kicked out by the site agent staff.

Its more about proximity, not what the road map says.

I am on my 3rd city with a population of 103k. Road planning I have found have 1 way systems running around the edge, as wide as possible as fast as possible. I found a nifty way to boost house prices is have a block of fire, police, schools, parks, and medical services very closely, then sprawl out from there. Housing taxes go through the roof (I was able to lower industrial and commercial to 4% whilst keeping housing at 8% and still make close to 5k a week. If I pushed it up to 13% on all, I would be having around 31k a week.

Where I was, it was like this. IT Director - Oversaw All aspects of IT, teaching and learning along with networking, though primarily was just a signature for the NM requests. | Network Manager (Me) - in my own office. | Assistant Network Manager - in his own office (smaller than mine). | 4 IT Techs - shared an office, which in terms of size was the twice the size of mine and the ANM combined, however had a workbench and all required tools etc for them to work with. | 2 Apprentices - shared with the IT techs. That establishment had 2400 users all told, 600 PCs, 200 laptops, 16 servers and CCTV.

Well done! I am 2.5lb on last night, however I have been ill and total loss whilst ill was 8.5lbs, so a net loss in the long term of 6lbs I am 3.5lbs away from my 3st mark
