  1. The new incident and update incident forms have changed in that there is no longer a seperate file upload box. A new file / image manager is now icluded which so much more powerfull. Each user now has thier own upload area which only they can see an manage, you can upload up to 10 files at once and each file is actually embeded into the response itself meaning 2 things: 1 - You can see it in the response without have to hunt for it like before 2 - The file or image is either linked or embeded into the emails generated via the helpdesk. So in answer to your question = Done !
  2. Ha Ha, Nice On a side note printer manager / inventory / stock levels is in the Sept 2011 release already. BETA testers should start testing this one at the end of the week.
  3. Which is why its being added, you ask you get
  4. Hope to have a BETA out any day soon, Plexer needs the ability to bulk add assets via csv uploaded so we are adding this in for him now. As soon as we finish internal QA testing then its out to you guys :-)
  5. MyLittleHelpdesk went end of life 12 months ago and there was a crossover between MLH and OPSD to allow people who wanted to upgrade the ability to do so. We do offer a free schools version which is hosted by us as VikPaw says and this is meant as an entry level version for schools that have not had experience of helpdesk software but would like to try without any risk to them. Most schools that have tried it have then gone on to upgrade to the full version. Our software has a full implementation of a helpdesk with loads of features, asset management with loads of features, network monitoring coming in Sept 2011 as well as a totally revamped room booker based of feedback from this forum of users. If you would like to take a look please do PM me and we can sort something out for you.
  6. This is a DB error, I have PM'd you asolution to fix the issue. As of the September 2011 release this has been resolved.
  7. We have not seen any issues during development and testing, could you PM me the format and length of the email address so we do some testing for you.
  8. Email polling is indeed hard coded to 10 mins as Edu-It has pointed out, we are going to make this user defineable within the Sept 2011 release however the minimum you will be able to select is 5 mins as some email server we have tested with if you go any lower will either overwhlem or block for a period. As far as you other question I believe you are talking about SLA's is that correct?
  9. This hotfix has been released to resolve an issue that has been found with the email poller where the emails polled where not removed from POP3 inboxes causing the emails to be polled repeatedly. Self hosted customers can download the update from the customer area - https://www.opsoftware.net/customers/ Hosted customers have already had the hotfix applied. If you do not use email polling then this is not an urgent fix however we advise that you should apply it when you can. Please follow the upgrade guide that can be found here when upgrading your software.
  10. Sounds like something is not running right there, can you check the application log in the event viewer of the webserver for any entries for the source OPSD. Could you PM me what you have, only the most recent needed, then I can tell you what you need to do.
  11. That would be becouse IMAP is not yet supported, more info on this can be found here - 0000178: E-Mail Polling for non-POP3 protocols - OP Software Issue Tracker Is roadmapped for the 2.0.4200 release.
  12. This looks like a page caching issue: you can tell that from this line: The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted Firstly make sure you give the helpdesk website a quick restart. Secondly make sure that the local web cache files (IE & FF Temporary Internet Files) are deleted then try again.
  13. This is the correct version number, we did the build late last night inorder to get the release out this morning, had we done the build today the it would indeed be 2.0.4110.xyz

  15. Yes I agree.
  16. I don't mind, however I would recommend our forum in order to try and keep everything in one place. this has been an issue in the past where information is spread far and wide and this was causing people a headache. that was one of the reason for the redesign of the site in order to provide simple and concise information.
  17. Don't see why not
  18. Did who get your mail? :-)
  19. All done, you should have had an activation email, let me know if you need any further help.
  20. Hi Mate, Got your PM and setting it up now. I think you requested a trial just as we were changing over the website so we may have missed it, i'll make sure it gets sorted for you today
  21. Yes, have autorised you access to the beta forum, as far as subdomians go the thinking was to try and bring it all together and make it easier to navigate.
  22. Yeah it is part of a new marketing stratergy we are putting in place and is an idea to tie all things together into a single brand. Looking into the blog today as we have noticed its slow, however it is being hosted via a 3rd party. Glad you like it though, have gone for the less is more look.
  23. Have been speaking with Vik over the weekend and it would appear to be an issue with his database, hopefully we have fixed his data issues and he is OK now but I am sure he will let us know
  24. Suggestions??
