  1. Hi All, v2.3.999 has been released this morning and is available via your customer area - https://opsoftware.net/customers/ This is an interim upgrade to address a couple of issues raised surrounding email delivery and the resource manager, upgrades are carried out in the normal way and documentation can be found here: https://opsoftware.net/helpdesk/kbDetails.aspx?id=46 A change log can also be seen here: Change Log - OP Software Issue Tracker We advise that everyone who has already upgraded to v2.3 should apply this upgrade, if you have yet to upgrade then go straight to this interim release as it contains all previous releases within it.
  2. The only one tag that has an issue is {%% LINK %%}, this has been patched also.
  3. Thats what we are looking to intgrate with
  4. It has been disabled/removed in this release due to a security issue which we did not have time to fix, we hope to get it back in and fixed for the Jan 2013 release.
  5. Hi randle, You are indeed correct that the email folw has changed over the past few releases but this is to make the system as flexible as possible with this one moving the email from a sinlge account to that which support queue specific for the most flexible solution. We have found an issue surrounding email being sent to groups on reply/update and this has been resolved, logging new requests generates an email as expected, a fix for this will be out either later today or first thing in the morning. We have added additional test information to the SMTP and POP3/IMAP tests that will generate a wealth of information to help better track down localised email server issues, as we have come across sites that have had misconfigured email setup espcially Exchange 2010 and the Send As feature.
  6. We have a fix for this timetbale issue and has been tested by Edu-IT who has come back saying the issue seems resolved for him and is stable. This does not affect everyone though just seems to be the odd few. Looking to have this patch ready either later today or first thing in the morning.
  7. Have you added the required email address groups to the support queues? There is a slight change to the way that emails are generated in that we no longer broadcast all emails out to the default helpdesk email account of old. Due to schools wanting to use the helpdesk for areas of the school other than support I.e. site management or reprographics we have enabled queue based email addresses so only the address linked to the queue are included on emails for that queue. This ensures that emails are not sent to people that have nothing to do with that queue. When a new request is logged then the user for whom the request is logged for will get an email plus the email group that is linked to the queue, after that any updates or closures are only sent to the user whom the call was logged for and the member of staff who has ownership of that call.
  8. OK, this is something we have not seen, any chance we can do a remote session to take a look at your data and see what is going on? As far as deleting entries you can only delete user based entries and not timetabled ones, we are currently working on this and should have an update out soon for that.
  9. So if I understand you correctly what your saying is: Room 1 - P1 - P2 - P3 - P4 - P5 Room 2 - P5 - P4 - P3 - P2 - P1 Room 3 - P1 - P2 - P3 - P4 - P5 Room 4 - P5 - P4 - P3 - P2 - P1 Is that correct? If so can we arrange a remote session so we can take a look and try to work out what is going on, we have not had any reports of anything like this and have alot of schools using the room booking system without any issue.
  10. Be carefull though as this will repeat the booking for the entire academic year. At the moment there is no way to do a repeat booking for a fixed timeframe, this has been added as a feature request on our online tracker for v2.4
  11. Hi tj2419, It's not free and costs either £300 per year or £500 for 3 years with no limits in use and all support and upgrades are included. If you like us on our facebook page we are giving away one free license per month until Jan 2013
  12. Not sure if I understand are you saying a block timetable booking OR a block booking for a set period of time for someone, being carried out by a member of helpdesk staff? v2.4 is mainly going to be a security release which is going to do away with the current "User Roles" system in favour of a more granular bespoke approach. This will allow NM's the ability to define thier own roles and apply what permissons (Read, Add, Update, Delete, Reporting, Etc...) they see fit for that role and then apply that to a user. This will allow the software to further follow inline with current practices and policies used by individual sites. This will fit in perfectly with what you are asking for the resource manager and permissions.
  13. Yeah it was me, I did not include the latest upgrade and setup scripts. Have checked the download release and all is ok in there
  14. Hmm looking into that now as that should not have happened. EDIT: Looks like I did not include the most up to date version of the install and upgrade script, how did I miss that. The download release has been updated with the correct scripts now
  15. Please check the support request I just raised for you.
  16. Are you onsite or doing this remotely? can we get a remote connection to see whats is happening?
  17. OK Confused now, did you get any errors the first time you ran the installer as you said you did not? The fact you were not able to login would lead me to believe the installer did not run correctly the first time. Did you create the SQL database with the required permissions as per the installation KB article?
  18. No problem, HTH
  19. Re-Authenticated for you.
  20. Excellent
  21. License authenticated and attached to support request.
  22. Have you emailed the one generated by the installer?
  23. Did you successfully get through the install wizard? No Permissions errors when the checks were carried out?
  24. Oooo our first 2012 server in the wild
  25. HTH, Let me know how you get on.
