    I can't work. Was going to update software on the server and install samba. But... it's too hot. All I hear is a digger for the school's neighbors.

    Office 2016 is really like 2013. I did the switch when 2016 came out and it went fine. I can't notice any difference.

    If you're using Office 365 and Office 2016 it will work.

    I use Office 2016 on all machines.

    Could you not use some sort of VPN that connects up to your school server and gets the data. mapped drives etc.

    I don't know if I am correct but I believe the Pro/Enterprise versions of Windows have offline folders that can be configured. I would look into that.

    I'm fine. All of our staff have 1TB OneDrive's by default.

    I've heard good things about Impero... but I am stuck with iTalc (free) because of my school's infrastructure.

    I'll think about it but I would still rather a registry edit.

    We don't have the money for servers just individual workstations. Everytime I make a registry edit I create a file that can also from run, can execute the edit.

    I'll try the registry edit later. Also, I'm thinking instead of it being on the desktop, I'm just thinking of mapping it as a network drive but I'll try other things first.

    Hello, I am tyring to add some stuff to our Batch script that runs on all logons. I need to have a shared desktop to a location //server/shared-area/shared desktop/. If this is not possible maybe I would need to have the bactch file copy over what I need to the desktop and remove what is already there.

    I use a piece of software that tracks internet use. It's called GlassWire. Don't know if it is of use to you.

    Ah, I don't have that. Just Pro with machines connected via workgroup. I always rather registry edits.

    Is applocker only for win server or is it in win Pro?
