  1. Have you tried resetting the profile for the admin user?
  2. We do last name, first letter of first name and intake year so for John Smith it would be SmithJ15.
  3. I'll try installing the new ADK and I will regenerate the boot image and see how I get on.
  4. Hi everyone, I've built a 1803 golden image and captured it through MDT, which worked fine. However, when I go to deploy the OS in a task sequence, I get the following error: `Litetouch Deployment Failed, return code = -2147467259 0x80004005`. It only happens on 1803 images. I've rebuilt the image with the same error message when deploying. I've tried in a VM and on a physical machine. I've tried setting a static IP address and using just DHCP. Still no luck. I've still got the 1709 ADK installed, would that possibly be the issue? I'm quite stumped.
  5. I'm just about to create a golden image for it
  6. Ah, here's the working link https://deployhappiness.com/the-ultimate-exe-silent-switch-finder/
  7. You could try running the setup as a startup script and grabbing the silent parameters using this tool.
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that even if the folder is being redirected there will still be a folder for it in their profile. Although, it shouldn't have anything in it.
  9. I've used Mesh computers in the past.
  10. The same happens to my Server 2016. However, I'm not using WSUS.
  11. I've found that the Silent switches for NaroCAD are "NaroCAD.exe" /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /NORESTART /SP-.
  12. Oh, that looks interesting. I'll have a wee look at that.
  13. I recommend Immunet. It's free and it's made by Cisco.
  14. Has anyone found a way to deploy NaroCAD via Group Policy? Is it a simple /quiet or /s switch?
  15. Create an 1803 image Image all computers with the new image
  16. It's finally working. No idea what was wrong with it.
  17. Yes, everything is on the same subnet. I'll have a look at the other thread.
  18. Right so, I've just setup a test domain and joined the laptop to that and gpupdate works fine. Looks like it's an issue with my domain. 😒
  19. I've just updated to the Windows 10 Fall Creators update on the laptop and it's still not resolved. Anything else I could try? At this point In really stuck. I don't understand how it works with Windows 7 and not with Windows 10. Everything was working fine until a few weeks ago.
  20. I've installed all the latest drivers from the manufacturer (eMachines).
  21. I've put Windows 7 on the machine and that works fine but will when I put Windows 10 back on it, it doesn't work. I've disabled windows firewall. I'm not sure if I was to upgrade the machine from 1703 to 1709 would make any difference.
  22. Hmm. When I do ipconfig on the laptop, it gives me an IP address but when I look at the DHCP client list on the router, that IP address isn't listed. Also, when I ping the laptop's name from any computer, not just the domain controller, it times out. However, it does find the IPv6 address of the laptop. It joined the domain normally, just with no GPOs. gpupdate /force shows an error where it can't resolve the domain controller. The laptop and the domain controller have the same time.
