  1. I've gone down the route that I can't send out mailers to anyone on a mailing list unless I can expressly prove that they have opted in to receive marketing emails. If you can already prove that you're good to go!
  2. Hyperconvergence looks like an ideal solution if redundancy is an issue. Works out a lot cheaper as well rather than going for 2 SANs.
  3. Take a look at Mellanox, so much cheaper than the likes of HP/Cisco
  4. Or Scale computing which seems to be Simplivity's cheaper cousin!
  5. Any reason why you're looking at Nutanix and not other hyperconverged providers?
  6. Have you had a virtualisation expert take a proper look at it. It's funny how many times an issue can be fixed just by changing the configuration.
  7. True, we're seeing a lot of people go down the hyperconverged route.
  8. Is there any reason why you've not gown down the route of a SAN and having your VM's and data all on there?
  9. Really depends on what your current infrastructure is to see what would make the most sense for you backup wise. Also comes down to how much you want to spend lol. Do you mind giving a quick overview of your existing environment?
  10. Do you have a separate ssd storage unit? Did you not look at a hyperconverged solution like Scale?
  11. How many virtual servers are you running and what is the condition of the hosts that you have? How important is it to you as well to have no Single Point of Failure?
  12. Did you put together a solution to replace this at all?
  13. Hi Martian, have you looked at Scale Computing at all? Also have you already virtualized or are you still running all physical servers?
