  1. If these results are from a different centre number you should be able to use the add external result feature. Quick google turned up this: http://www.thegrid.org.uk/info/traded/sitss/exams/general/documents/dms032_sims_exams_add_external_results_v1_1.pdf
  2. Can you try loading it into a satellite install?
  3. We are moving back to lesson next year having been a NCC. Forms/Registration is a minor irritation - however it also stops any alternative curriculum going on in tutor time causign us problems with registering our reading catch-up groups etc.
  4. We have a from date in our entry not sure if that makes a difference?
  5. Sorry I think I misunderstood. You can add these using the classification box in course manager - it is under the QCA codeset.
  6. Andrew, This should be entered via course manager (tools>academic management). Usually students should be assigned to the course automatically through enrolment in the relevant class however lots of places this can go wrong (I am assuming they are allocated to a specific class for maths resit?). If they are in a class sometimes the level in course manager is wrong as the timetable export has all the KS5 courses linked as say A-levels where this is a GCSE. The course needs a QN (qualification number) as well.
  7. Sorry I meant between pairs - e.g. 2/3 or 1/4. If you want to freely swap between just 1/2 and 3/4 you could just split the band in 2 and put English & PE in separate blocks. This would probably result in a simpler arrangement particularly if there were any ongoing changes in groupings.
  8. If there is no change over between x1/2 pair and x3/4 pair in this block you could split the band into 2. Other blocks that need access to all of x1-4 could stretch across multiple bands in the same way that KS4 options subjects might.
  9. Have you tried CTRL-Rightclick or ALT-Rightclick?
  10. Tools> Allocate rooms will allocate rooms based on the automatic rooming records which can be set per staff member or per subject/faculty (various options under Plan>Rooms). Rooms can also be added from staff timetables by right clicking Adding rooms in the sessions/classes views essentially alters the structure of the block adding additional constraints - e.g. we add the Drama studio to drama lessons so that Drama can only be autoscheduled when the drama studio is free as well as when the teacher is free. Adding rooms here does constrain the auto-schedule however so only do it where you need to - the facilities function can be used where you have a set number of rooms (e.g. science labs)
  11. Can you filter the group by year taught in (YTI) rather than year group?
  12. Has anyone had any luck in importing non-standard results from Sports Leaders UK? There doesn't seem to be an exam board in SIMS for them.
