  1. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated Les
  2. Thanks for your help on this - it looks like it was the Lesson Monitor Options had not been set up correctly. Of course I may have set them up wrong myself just now, but at least I can see the marks now. Thanks again, greatly appreciate your time. Les
  3. Sorry, I seem to be taking up a lot of your time, but thanks for trying. It isn't half-term here, hoping the image shows enough of what I see. Got any thoughts? Thanks Les
  4. Yes and thats selected, but whatever I choose I only get the option to mark AM or PM.
  5. Thanks for that. Maybe our setup is the issue but Edit Marks only brings up Sessions, or maybe I am missing something. Any help would be much appreciated. Les
  6. We are a sixth form college and run a 5 block 2 week timetable. We've had to make a bespoke change for one subject due to availability of a teacher, this class runs at odd times e.g. after last period/lunchtimes. How do I implement this into timetables?
  7. We are a sixth form college and do not use session registers, just lesson registers. I can mark a whole days attendance for all lessons, but I cant see any way to select a time period within a day. Is there a way to mark just two periods for a group of students?
  8. Thanks for responding. I used this method for prior attainment for some students from non-"CTF" schools, but wasn't sure if there was any other way. I am told we are hoping we'll have exam centre approval before summer entries need making (I know only 5 weeks away!) so another steep learning curve awaits.
  9. I am pretty new to SIMS and have not needed to worry about anything to do with exams as we are a new sixth form with only Year 12 students on two year programmes. However, we did have 10/11 sit a GCSE maths resit back in November. We are in temporary accommodation and have not become an exam centre in our own right, so these students sat the exam as external candidates under our "hosts" centre. Now I am about to face the issue that the results will be available tomorrow and I need to work out how I am going to use that information. As we are not an exam centre yet Exam organiser is blank. How can i add any results to a students course records? Am I right that in thinking that in SIMS the exam results need to be present to pull into a course record? I will no doubt have the same issue come the summer as we take ownership of our permanent site after the summer exams. So any help much appreciated. Regards Les
