i have heard that rovers have problems with gaskets going on them and know of two people who this has happened to.

I would go for the ceiling mount option and also have all the cabling on the ceiling, this would hide all the cables away too...we have a 42 inch plasma mounted from the ceiling in the dining room using this option. Another idea would be to use an arm mounting bracket from the inside wall and position the tv in front of the window then. If needs be i can take pics of both of our brakets like this to give you an idea.

How do your users report problems during lessons?

For the rest of you, here the kids usually just get sent down to us, or the teachers collar us in the corridoor and tell us hours after the problem has happened. -

We don't generally give them email addresses, but if they have to use the VLE which is increasingly likely then we do, tbh though most of them don't use it.

Just out of interest is this Term Time only or is it full time? -
Pretty much the same here how much they value the use of in house IT Support.

Working fine here with full admin access, will test it with student access at some point. As someone said possibly due to Flash or Shockwave

If you don't want to use Lenovo then i highly recommend AA Computer Repair Centre. We deal with these when there are problems that we can't fix i.e. power supplies and the like. Ask for Gem Watson, she is our contact and gets things fixed pretty quick for us.

ok makes me feel better that i'm not the only one who doesn't like them...although when they work they are pretty good. Just seems like there is always something wrong with them.

Morning All, I have a HP K5400 colour printer which the head uses, this is her second one as the first leaked ink from the printhead area and it went everywhere. We replaced the heads as we thought that was the problem but this didn't work. In the end we just replaced the printer. We have another one in school with no problems but the heads new (around 7 months old) one has now started to leak again in the same area. Just wondered if anyone had any previous issues like this or if anyone knows what could be causing it? thanks for any help

Netsupport 10.5 Remote Deploy Problem
EvLPhenom replied to paulmc's topic in Network and Classroom Management
Where are your installation files stored, i know you can change where it pulls the data from, i had a couple of issues when i tried to install across the network and i found the files where on the local machine. I moved them to a network share and then redeployed having changed the install source and it worked fine. hope this helps -
1GB should do it but if you want it to run nicely 2+...personally i have 4GB.

Not sure how it works but when i worked at ASDA while i was at college, they had a cordless phone system that would work anywhere on the shop floor. Kind of bigger and bulkier than a normal cordless phone and it was made by BT. Every department had one. Sorry for the lack of info just saying that they do exsist lol
