  1. Is that same block on at that time of the day? If so, just move the lesson on the Block screen to move the lesson within that block.
  2. Need to export every change. In Nova, Data > Export Curriculum and Timetable to SQL
  3. Not what you're asking, but if you add achievement/behaviour types to registers, staff can right click a name to record an incident and it automatically records the lesson/subject automatically then. I hate all the attendance reports in SIMS!
  4. SIMS got back to me surprisingly quickly about this, along those same lines - treat gender as sex and create a new field for gender and pronouns. https://support.capitasoftware.com/csm?sys_kb_id=b2a721641b9b2010fe688551f54bcbc5&id=kb_article_view&sysparm_rank=1&sysparm_tsqueryId=816f4c501b7eb410fe688551f54bcb81
  5. Did you get anywhere with this? We're in the same boat and surprised the DfE don't recognise anything other than M/F in the census.
  6. PP data isn't on Keys to Success any more, you can get this year's allocation from Get Information About Pupils.
  7. Reports attached. There's two - one for total points this year, one for total points in a time period. When you run them, save the data somewhere as a .csv file. You can then copy and paste the data into the Excel template. You may then need to refresh the pivot tables, select one to bring up the PivotTable Tools. Under Analyze, click Refresh and then Refresh All. Should give you the totals for each house in the table on the left and the top student per house on the right. Reports.zip
  8. If you want it for a particular time frame, that's how I'd do it as SIMS isn't great for getting data from between two points in time. It'll give you a list of each AP awarded and to whom (and more importantly their house). You can then use a pivot table to quickly add up how many points awarded to each house. Be warned, depending on the number of incidents it's pulling out, it could take a while. I have a similar report that I run at reports time, allowing me to break down APs/BPs awarded to each student by type to go on their report. I ran it the other day and it took a few mins to get all the APs for a year group. I can send you a report and excel template for what you're after tomorrow if you want.
  9. You are - that's the bit I understand. The bit I'm not sure about is where you're storing your house points in SIMS, I assume as achievement points.
  10. What are house points? Are you after the number of Achievement Points per house? Something like the below, exported to Excel would give you a list of all APs awarded since the date. Use a pivot table to quickly tell you how many points each house or student have this year. Change the date to get just for the term. Could take a while to run, depending on number of APs!
  11. Was better yesterday, broken again today
  12. Moana Sing Zootropolis Paddington
  13. Is there an easy way to add all students' timetables to their linked documents? We want to email them out to parents using PS-Connect, which can pick up linked docs. Only way I can think is to create a report to pull out the info for each period and then re-import via assessment and generate as an individual report. There must be an easier way?
  14. We used it for Year 13 before Christmas and it was fantastic. Not sure why it went down this afternoon but it's clearly a popular time for Parents Evenings.
  15. We got hit with it too, 2 mins after the first appointments started, nightmare! Ended up postponing just before they announced it was back up, not sure how stable it was after.
  16. This is what I get if I create a two week timetable. Did you go to Cycle -> Create Week Two to create it?
  17. Thanks, same as this one - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/educational-jobs/192323-network-manager-twickenham-negotiable-closes-09-02-18-a.html where there's a bit more info.
  18. Also, as it crops up often and I wouldn't want it to put the perfect candidate off - it doesn't matter whether you're Catholic or non-Catholic. We don't (can't) discriminate on the grounds of religion. People of any faith or without faith can apply, all that's asked is that you're sympathetic to the College's identity and mission.
  19. There's a team in place already: myself - IT & Data Manager Technician - joined 1.5 years ago Apprentice Technician - been here a few months This role would fit in under myself so I can take a step back from the IT side of things. The College is now in its 5th year (first lot of GCSEs this year, eep!) and has been supported until now by a local Secondary school that we have close ties with. I see you're not far away - if you want to pop over or have a chat on the phone, give me a shout.

  22. No, it's a Catholic College but people of any faith can apply and work here.
  23. We're re-advertising this after being unsuccessful recently. Salary's now negotiable depending on experience! Again, any questions fire them my way. Edit: Not sure how to edit the thread title?
