Cheers all, i did think that would be the best way but thought i'd raise it before incase there was any gotchas! We have a year to implement this now as they gave us 5 days notice of the renewal happening so didnt have time to implement the change..

Normally yes, but the CFO is pushing for this now...

Trust me i am extremely pissed at the whole scenario, Shadow IT of the highest order. Was brought and implemented with a 3rd party cloud hosting provider without IT's knowledge till it was too late. Edit: Finance are now complaining that sage is slow, when in Sages docs, it says it big bold letters, DO NOT RUN OVER A WAN. Which does rule out 1&2 but the cost of 3 might just have make them deal with it, the plus side of us hosting it in the cloud is the VPN to the cloud Subnet meaning they can use the client software without the need to RDP

Afternoon All, We are needing the requirement to have an AD environment (currently fully cloud, no on site servers), due to a new bit of sage software. I have the following ideas; 1) Whip up an AD in Azure (cloud) and don't hybrid it just run Sage and AD in their own little circle 2) Whip up a full AD environment in the cloud, join it with AAD and then Sage. 3) Built onsite server setup with then AD, Sage etc. and hybrid join it Ideally i want option 1 but im worried about future servers etc also needing AD and running into issues of it being separate, so i think 2 is the best option (3 i priced out at roughly 100k), i'm also aware going from AAD to Hybrid isn't the most straightforward... Has anyone done a AAD hybrid move? if so can you point me to any guides etc please!

Is it all in the same area? could be a power issue. We had one area where when someone turns on a shredder it makes all the screens flash... shredder has since gone

Recommendations for Remote Monitoring and Management. Which RMM ?
DalekSec replied to mikkydoos's topic in Cloud Services
Intune is the industry standard now, I've used it for 6+ Years without fault it's fairly straight forward once you start using it. I get the slow part, but normally just force a sync and it goes though. I agree iOS/macOS isn't great on Intune, i'd recommend going Moysle for that, but for Windows and Android Intune will do everything you need, even more so if hybrid and can still use GPO -
Could it be the GPO and 365 Policies are conflicting?

Doctor Who: Season 2 is a huge improvement over S1, still needs to stop crying every episode though! Last of us: Going from strength to strength this series Andor: Slow but slowing gaining pace has me just about gripped atm Joe Lychetts United States of Birmingham: Alright Bab The Four Seasons: The name makes it sound like a White Lotus rip off, its not its a good comedy about relationships over the four weather seasons Taskmaster: I only tend to watch seasons where there are comedians i like, i've missed the last 2 but this one has Jason Mantzoukas in and i'm hooked after the first episode!

We use Desk365.io, relatively cheap and syncs with 365/Teams

I am enjoying this seasons a lot more than the last one, the last couple of episodes even more so, Lux i even watched twice, something i've not done since Capaldi!

Papercut Hive - The horror story you've been waiting for?
DalekSec replied to TSheward_MM's topic in Cloud Services
Looking to deploy with in an Enterprise (non school) environment, has anyone used from this perspective have any feedback? -
I'm still waiting for this whole AI crazy to die down, My big realization on why not to use it for a lot of things was after it kept getting IT knowledge etc wrong, then i realised i was using it for non-IT bits i knew little about but then i though if it's wrong for IT how do i now its not wrong for other bits? Then found myself double checking everything it was saying and using more time than before! I tend to only use it to reword bits or an advanced search engine.

Morning All, Looking software for removing around our end user devices, we currently use Quick assist but we now have a growing Mac user base along with it being very temperamental. We have 350 users and around 200 devices. Remote Help works out at a few grand, Teamviewer is slightly cheaper but still quite a lot! Fully cloud based so SCCM is out the question also... What does everyone else use?
