Yeah it looks like i'll need to do with AD restructuring. It's needed anyway as the school has rapidly out grown it's current infrastructure. Cheers mate.

Good morning, We have a new drive share with various resources for staff. We have a folder called prayers, now we want to have one member of staff's account have read write privileges so she can add prayers, change them etc.. But school want all other members off staff to be able to read it only. All staff accounts fall under the same group in AD, so denying the staff group denies all the staff including the specified staff account as deny rule takes precedence. Is there anything i can do or does it mean restructuring AD? Any ideas would be great.

I have the possibility of a fight in April. Need to decide this weekend if it's enough time to get fight ready. I'm well off weight right now

I don't have Windows 10 handy, but i'm aware of an issue that systemreset can be run and wipe machines, not sure if thats the same file being executed when Shift + restart, but systemreset.exe in C:\Windows\System32, so maybe block users from running that file using group policy? Easy fix to implement so worth a try.

With you on that. Good that your BM understands that infrastructure upgrades are necessary and doesn't have "QUICK, BUY iPADS!!!11" attitude.

Approach your local college and see if they offer the CCNA course.

For a small primary, do you see much performance difference? We are giggabit and running Unifi wifi network, but wondering if the extra cost of the drives is worth it?

When muscles are sore, sometimes gentle exercise (such as swimming) actually helps the pain and makes them feel better. Mainly due to the stretching, so carry on as you would. Listen to your body, if your in serious pain, rest. The same goes for joint pain.

I have a Fiesta ST 2014 on hire purchase. But a big deposit down on it and my monthly payments are around £200 pm. In three years i own the car..roll on three years! Previous to this car i had the 1.0 turbo ecoboost engine thats in the ecosport. Whilst i haven't driven the ecosport the ecoboost engine is a beauty. Free road tax, decent fuel economy and good performance (125 bhp). Don't let the name fool you though, if MPG figure are all you want get a car with a tiny diesel engine. The ecoboost isn't as economical as you might think, i saw real world driving figures at around 45mpg. Not in the 60 something ford claim. JUst though i'd let you know.

Just ignore it. I owe Student finance company an obscene amount of money. I don't earn enough to pay it off so i'm not going to. Sounds horrible and makes you feel like a benefit cheat, but if you can't afford it, you can't afford it.

I've given up fizzy pop as well. Not completely mind, if i treat myself to a take away i'll have one with it. But other than it's water or juice.

Yeah i struggle with pull ups, as my weight has gone up from training my ability to do pull ups has gone down, as i'm moving more weight.
-
I lost weight over the holidays, seriously annoyed about it. Anyone who lifts and trains will tell you weight loss like that is muscles loss. > Wanted to take a fight this year but i'm doubting myself if i'm ready or not.

BTLS told me there was a Lightspeed issue.

+1 for flux. I use it at home at night!

Ha! Yeah that's right.

Windows Media Player in Windows 7 can play DVD's by default, but it was removed in future editions due to license issues if i remember right.
-
Yep. Set VLC default for DVD's and it'll auto play which is nice, as teachers find the VLC UI a little too much for them..

Got student of the year at my MMA class! Chuffed! Resting off the weights this week as i'm having a "fight" tomorrow. I say "fight" as it's a glorified sparring session really but don't want to be tired and sore for it.

It just seems like we are asking for trouble when all data at some point, flows into JANET/Jisc networks. It's a single point of failure and this downtime has obviously exposed that. No doubt they know this, i'd guess they are hindered by funding.

Does appear to be stablising a bit now. Still getting the lightspeed error though sometimes but at least sites are starting to load.
