  1. I have the same issue, and we use unifi mesh to solve it. Very easy to set up!
  2. Just a quick one, anyone else having sophos updating failed today? Seems like an issue with http://sophos2.lancsngfl.ac.uk/.
  3. Thanks for the tip. The drives are mapped using vb scripts so it's probably that! Thanks pal.
  4. After training hard doing my strength conditioning, lots of pad work and sparring in MMA and jujitsi and swimming most mornings, my fight has fallen through. Got one lined up for maybe summer hols so that could work out better really. May as well just keep myself fight ready but not cutting.
  5. Did you ever solve this? Mapped drives not applying, but if i change back to .dat it works fine. Server 2012. No errors in event viewer.
  6. You have just reminded me that i used to have a Cyrix CPU powered computer in the mid to late 90's. I had completely forgotten about that! I was probably only 7 -8 year old at the time so i probably killed it taking it apart and trying to put it back together.
  7. My first computer was mitsubishi apricot running 3.1 I'm quite a way off you guys. Would of liked to have been there for start of it all though.
  8. What would be the advantage of that? Not being critical, being curious.
  9. You need the equipment anyway, and it's not the kind of gear you keep in your garage at home! Try taking it to a ford garage to track it. I've had better results form reputable dealers than tyre shops. YMMV.
  10. Agreed, it is also a bit tricky to get the wheel dead centre on some cars, mine is hard and takes a few adjustments.
  11. Just so no one falls into the same pit fall as me, here's a summary of whats wrong: *Mandatory profile folder inherited a "everyone" read/write setting thanks to my co-workers mistake *mixed environment of 32bit/64bit *mixed environment all writing to same profile due to wrong security settings The profile was being continuously written too and changed and eventually because corrupt i believe. I've rebuilt the profile, set the appropriate privileges (read only) and all is well on the 64bit machines. However, the man profile doesn't sit well with the 32bit machines, most of it doesn't apply. Assuming this is due to the differences in 32bit/64bit registry setup. According to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2384951 It isn't supported or a good idea to use both OS's with same profile. We only have a few 32bit machines left so i'll probably just image them up to 64bit. Thanks for all the help.
  12. They might have tracked it..poorly. When doing the wheel alignment the steering wheel has to be dead center or else you get symptoms you've described.
  13. As above, process of elimination. Test it without powerline.
  14. Yeah and if the track is out (even slightly) it will ruin the next set of tires. You need new rubber and the tracking being done as soon as possible. At the same time is a good idea.
  15. Got to be tracking. Could be worn bushes on the lower arms if you find it drifts about when accelerating. Don't use Quick Fit, find a local independent garage that has laser geometry gear. Quick Fit tried to tell me that my track rod ends are seized up and need replacing. I went to a local garage who said they'd try and loosen the bolts with a blow torch, but there was no need. Quick Fit had lied to just to try and get me to spend money on parts and labour I didn't need. YMMV but I advise to avoid at all costs.
  16. Win7 pro both 32bit and 64bit. Thanks for helping guys.
  17. Not that i can see! The man profile folder is shared to the correct groups with full control!
  18. Hi all, We are using a basic mandatory profile i acquired from a user on this board and all has been working fine. But suddenly, users that are using the Man profile are not getting the mapped drives. They just don't show up in my computer. Roaming profiles are working fine however. Has anyone come across this before? Driving me mad!
  19. Tend to keep it bare if i can, but i needed JRE for my Unifi Controller so that's the only thing i have loaded on.
  20. No. I have been Epsonised though.
  21. cheers lads
  22. I'm not all that clued up on MAT's, but what happens to the primary IT support guys? Many of us are not employed directly by the school, more invoice them for the service we do, doing this for many primary schools. What happens when they join a MAT. Does this mean the IT team working for the MAT will take over the support for the primary schools putting the existing guys out of a contract?
  23. It's not worth it, i have an old 27" "HD" ready TV connected to my PC, it's angled to the bed so i can watch netflix in bed off my PC. But the resolution is just daft and i get blurred edges. There ok for watching videos from a distance but not up close for reading or browsing the web.
  24. I've seen on social media it's another type of day today, but lets not mention that here..
