Thankyou for this. I'm needing to have one teacher teach two classes in the same block (for assorted reasons!). I cannot get the solution above to work for this; it keeps unbuilding the block. Can anyone help with this?

This is all quite interesting, and something I have wanted to do for ages, but have still not worked it out. If anyone has other guidance / ideas. It would make life much simpler, and SLT would have less excuse for "forgetting" they had lessons.

Slightly different thread, but I have the T6 manual - all 4 billion pages of it, and am starting my second ever timetable. I cannot find how to access the wizard that carries forward the bits of last year that carry over (like Y10 - 11 and Y12 - 13) so I don't have to start from scratch. Any ideas??

OK, so school finishes tomorrow, and today the SENCO comes to me and says "are we going to have teaching assistants on the timetable nextt year?" any ideas. Have flicked in big manual, but short of calling them a resource (and even then it would not print in T4) I cannot see how to do it. Chris

No - not so far as I have found yet. In Ver 10 you can set up a theme, so that once you have changed page 1, all subsequent pages have the same settings. (background colour, font settings, logos in the corner etc). You still start with a blank white page, but it only takes seconds to do.

An odd thing, but I cannot find my copies of these - I was showing notebook V10 to new colleagues in today, and they did not appear to be where they used to be! I'll have to pinch them from my home machine which still has 9.5 on it.

The toolbar is my biggest complaint with Ver 10. Currently just being used by head of maths and head of ICT. One uses extended desktop, and toolbar location simply blooming useless. SMART response is "it cannot be put anywhere other than primary monitor". Oh Well.

I am using T6, but still export to T4 just to print - the layout is much more friendly for people to read / schedule their own teams. Just starting to get my head around it all.

Apologies if this appears elsehwere... I have recently taken on timetabling, and have got to grips with setting up models in T6. I am particularly proud of how I have modelled the Y10 options. Studetns either choose one double award, or two single. What I have done is attached. Unfortunately on loading it to options, it does not seem to recognise these, and only gives me the y10 maths groups for options. any ideas?? My new best friend in the office and I are getting exasperated!
