  1. Are you perhaps doing something to block it? I am looking at Win11 with OneDrive and Share is right there for me in the 'hidden' context menu.
  2. Should be a "Show more options" item at the bottom of the win11 condensed context menu, can then Share as normal...
  3. Only done v18 upgrade in one of our sites, separate 3cx instance for each school and no bridging. I had issues with the v18 desktop app as applocker errored:- 'The publisher information cannot be extracted from the specified file: ......................\AppData\Local\Programs\3cxDesktopApp\3cxDesktopApp.exe. Reason: The object identifier does not represent a valid object. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800710D8)' 3cx desktop app versions seem a bit hit and miss with applocker. So I've stuck with the v16 app as I connect to a few other v16 sites, but no audio sent/received when dialling an extension on v18. Mobile app seems to work with both. Edit - using applocker file hashes v18 works ok
  4. Just checking, returns nothing in an admin powershell?
  5. @AJB123 safe to say we're all different and 106 gpos not obscene/unheard of. 17 GPOs for about 1000 pupils - could easily reduce in quantity but even easier to increase
  6. depends on the extent of the damage, the size/complexity of the environment and how recent the backups for me, but sure, carry on
  7. Are you in a position to be able to revert to backups? I would be dubious about continuing with any servers that have had any form of infection - appreciate not always possible. Do you have good backups (reliable, regular, thorough)?
  8. Server 2019 has desktop experience. Is server 1809 core only?
  9. Does this link help? https://cloudblogs.microsoft.com/windowsserver/2018/03/29/windows-server-semi-annual-channel-update/ I appreciate its talking about server 1803 rather than 1809 but I think the point is still made
  10. Snagged it early this morning once, win 10 1809 edu x64 eng however continues to evade :/
  11. Something along the lines of; if (-Not (test-path "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.Windows.Photos_2018.18011.15918.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe")) { Add-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online -PackagePath ".appxbundle" –LicensePath "Microsoft.Windows.Photos_8wekyb3d8b bwe.xml" }
  12. I had a play with azure ad app proxy late last year looking at a proof of concept for presenting some of our in-house apps in o365 as opposed to locally in moodle (which will go!). I used AADAP to connect to an internal sql db with asset info (equip name, make, model, purchase date, assigned_to, that sort of info) and presented in a searchable PowerApps app. Sadly didn't get any further than that, but proxying RDS intrigues me.
  13. Having any issues other than OSD? As @Steve21 asked, what changes have been made recently? Do you integrate MDT? If issues are only OSD, does it make a difference when trying to OSD a known device vs unknown device?
  14. Deploying 1803 (from vlsc) through sccm task seq or updating 1709>1803 with feature update from wsus (/sccm software updates) both show UK everywhere within the OS. Not installing any UK packs but everything still showing as UK. @Blue_Cookeh where are you seeing non-UK?
  15. With some previous current branch release updates of SCCM I have needed to re-create my boot image (using an MDT boot image) before PXE worked as expected. Haven't tried removing PXE recently but I don't recall experiencing what you are seeing there. When you are removing the role, it definitely goes? Can you identify the point where it comes back? Already removed PXE support in sccm, waited a few mins and then remove the role from server manager/powershell ? confirm both are still gone then reboot? anything in eventviewer?
  16. Haven't had any PXE issues running 1802 here.
  17. Yea local profiles, using GPO to configure a scheduled task to delprof2 inactive profiles when idle, on logoff etc
  18. We managed to squeeze in an upgrade to CS6 knowing there was going to be a very expensive shift over to the Creative Cloud platform. Relatively simple to test the issue with Guest users even on CS4, just add one of your domain accounts to the local Guests group, login as that user and try to open PhotoShop. From memory, the other issues may not have been related to Guest, as we were working on a lot of different things at the same time, but if they were, possibly Windows 10 built-in apps?
  19. We were adding students to the 'Guests' group, initially through 'domain guests' then instead through local assignment of our domain all students group to local Guests group but unfortunately had to change this approach after realising it was causing us issues. Although we managed to work through a number of the issues, the one that really stuck and caused us to revert was the use of Adobe CS6 Photoshop - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2127910 . If you don't care about/use/own Adobe CS I think use of the 'Guest' mechanic works very well for students with local profiles.
  20. Ok so before powering the server off (deleting the VM/wiping the physical tin or whatever other plans you have for the 'box') for good, better to demote (dcpromo) the server to a member server and safely remove the other roles too, first. Double check that your new DC is not using the old DC for DNS forwarding, and doubly check that the new DC (and any other servers for that matter) are not using your OLD DC for dns lookups.
  21. I know it can be hard to narrow things down sometimes, but could you be more specific? What roles/features are still installed/enabled/in use on the server? Any chance that it is still providing dns forwarding for your new DC?
  22. Absolutely agree. Have built a few SCCM environments including one for a trust that spanned a dozen or so schools, since left that trust and have an sccm environment entirely just for our ~1200 user school. In the larger trust-wide scenario I went with a single primary server/management point (incl SQL) in one school and a DP in each school. The single school environment in my case is a single VM with OSD, EP, software deployment and some reporting. This has been entirely fine for us, with all software coming from sccm, everyone on win10/office 2016 but everyones requirements vary. So far I've not seen justification for building SCOM/Orch or VMM/DPM here (vmware/veeam house).
  23. Education Pro Plus was deprecated according to the last few microsoft licensing reps I've spoken to. Recently changed o365 tenant due to school name change and MAT change and was disappointed that that license was no longer available. The names of most of those seem to change recently anyway, its now Office 365 A1 for faculty (/students) and Office 365 ProPlus for faculty (/students) but Office 365 A1 Plus for faculty (/students) seems to be the one deprecated. OT Are there clear, good justifications for deploying o365 rather than o2016 across the network? I assume that WSUS's 'Office 365 client' is the product covering office 365 suite?
  24. Have spent quite a few hours trying to approve mathswatch vimeo videos through our web filtering appliance, so far without success, even with considerable support from filtering provider. Mathswatch advised me that none of their other customers are experiencing any issues once they provided the whitelist. Suspected they weren't being honest about that, thanks for confirming.
