  1. Perfect, thanks for checking that for me.
  2. What happens if you manually create a user does it automatically populate or not? I am having Salamander installed tomorrow but have an annoying issue that I'm trying to troubleshoot which requires that attribute to be filled and I'm trying to work out how it fills. I've never had a problem with this before.
  3. Afternoon, Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on something for me. Should the mailNickname attribute in AD automatically populate or how do you get it to populate? Cheers
  4. I would say that My School Portal is alright for certain things but has it's limitations. I also think it depends on what MIS it is syncing with though. I would have to say if you do go down that route with them, pay extra for the support plans, their basic online only support is terrible and you don't have a phone number to call anyone for support.
  5. To make this even stranger, if person A opens up person Bs mailbox in OWA, then tries to open other 365 apps, then it will sign in as person As email address. Tried on a fresh device and problem is still the same.
  6. Yeah I've tried in both Chrome and Edge. Problem persists in both, which is odd, the user is a primarily Chrome user so I thought fresh app data in Edge might help but nope. Will try an entirely different device.
  7. Tried that, even tried different browsers and InPrivate/InCognito sessions and problem is still the same. I've never seen anything like this before.
  8. Afternoon, Bit of a strange one today. One of our users signs into OWA and can see their emails and everything all fine, however in the top right it shows another users name and email address. The user it shows is of another person who's mailbox the first user does have delegated access to. However, this problem means that when the first user tries to open other 365 apps it then tries to sign in with the second users email address. Hopefully that makes a bit of sense. Has anyone seen any problems like this before? Cheers
  9. Give Lee over at Wave9 a shout. @Wave9_Lee Talk to him about FastVue Reporter for Sophos. It produces really decent reports and alerting from the XG unit and would probably be your best bet. Highly recommend both Lee and FastVue.
  10. I am just setting up Mosyle MDM and setting up the sync with Apple School Manager. So far I have got Azure AD populating Apple School Manager and Federated the domain which is working wonderfully. I am now setting up the sync between Apple School Manager and Mosyle. I am able to get students and teachers synced over once I have setup classes in ASM. However, we have some staff that do not associate with classes, thinking of people in office, like marketing department. How can you sync these people into Mosyle?
  11. Morning, Sorry to open up an old thread. Just wondering what you thought of Heimdal and the reasoning for choosing Sophos over Heimdal. I am looking at my options for protection when my Sophos sub ends next year and am considering Heimdal as an option? Thanks
  12. Thanks, I created a new virtual queue with the PaperCut Global Driver and that has solved the issue of the printers picking up the correct paper size when set on the iPad. Have you noticed the issue though of not always getting the paper size option until you have sent an initial job to the print queue?
  13. Did you use a manufactures universal driver or the papercut global driver? I have a fleet of Kyocera machines.
  14. Hopefully someone can help as I am going around in circles. I have a load of iPads and PaperCut Mobility Print. On the iPads when sending print jobs from the iPads to the Follow Me queue in PaperCut and select A3 paper size it always prints in A4. It's as if PaperCut is not reading the paper size selection from the iPad. Has anyone else got this issue or got any ideas on how to work around this? Cheers
  15. Yeah the Smoothwall kept randomly dropping the WAN interface for split seconds so it wasn't noticeable on general web usage but affect the call audio. I just stood up a pfsense VM and re-routed all the Phone traffic through that to the WAN until I replaced the Smoothwall.
  16. I'm not too sure. I've since moved on from that school. It was certainly prior to the latest version of the control OS on the Unifi and I believe it was SFOS 17 on the XG.
  17. I'll be honest, I can't really remember, other than updating the firmware on both the XG and the Unifi. I think at one point I also had the Intercept X agent installed on the laptops and that was interferring with the Heartbeat auth because it wasn't sending the right domain through with the username, so I ended up turning Heartbeat auth off on the XG. I did then fix that issue though by adding a second DC and domain into the XG for authentication.
  18. I'm having a nightmare trying to setup these policies to get this to work. Is anyone able to share with me the policies they created to make this work? Cheers
  19. Good Morning, I've had a request through about filtering Youtube videos. Leadership would like us to be able to filter Youtube to only show a pre-defined list of videos that staff approve. They would also like the ability for staff to be able to add the video URLs to the list themselves so that when they are lesson planning they can just quickly add the videos rather than waiting for us in IT to add it to a whitelist. I am currently using Smoothwall but am looking at alternatives as well. Apparently LGFL gave teachers the ability to do this but not sure how, the computing teacher that used to do it used it several years ago now. Any ideas on this would be great Cheers
  20. The Ultimate IT Documentation Tool - Hudu This is pretty reasonably priced for a cloud hosted solution, or you can host internally. Works really well and has a built in password manager. It has really nice integrations as well with various helpdesk solutions and Office 365.
  21. Thanks guys, looks like mosyle.io was not listed anywhere but I had to add that to the webfilter whitelist as well. Cheers
  22. Morning, I am trying to get Mosyle working through our Smoothwall and not having much luck. When iPads are connected to a separate network they work fine but when going through the Smoothwall filter they do not update or pick up any profile changes. Has anyone successfully managed to allow Mosyle to work with Smoothwall? Cheers
  23. Real time logs are showing it as code 407 which is no authentication. Where do you add that Source exception?
  24. I've looked at this but the problem is that shouldn't be needed. I have other servers which are bypassing the proxy and working fine as is. Yet this new server is not. It's IP address is in the same range as the other working server and from what I can see in the smoothwall it is within the specified range for exemption.
  25. Good Morning I am hoping someone here can help me from going crazy and around in circles with a Smoothwall. I have spun up a new VM and it has got a static IP in the same range as my other servers which should all be setup to bypass proxy authentication on the Smoothwall. On the old legacy servers this is working correctly and I can do everything I need. I am just trying to use PowerShell to install some modules and testing it with the Invoke-WebRequest command. However, everytime I do this I get an error saying Kerberos/NTLM authentication failed. But the server shouldn't need to authenticate, it should be bypassing the proxy altogether. Other servers are working correctly and not producing this error. Can someone help point me in the right direction as to how to achieve this? Cheers
