Anyone any experience with deep cycle batteries? I'm after one which is about 80ah and is suitable to take camping, will only be used a few times a year. I'm also trying to hunt down a lead that goes from the battery to provide a cigarette lighter style socket so I can plug in a device that has a cigarette lighter plug on it.

If it's the brightness he's complaining about then that's not epilepsy related. I would suggest changing the white window background in programs to a light grey or light beige, that tends to help with glare related issues.

If the person has photosensitive epilepsy then a risk assessment should be carried out by some suitably qualified from HSE or your LA to avoid any issues. Only a very small percentage of epileptics are photosensitive and lighting, anti-glare screens, screen colours etc won't make any difference as it's the screen flicker which is the problem.

Don't go mad with antibacterial sprays/detergents, they dry out the board. Wood has natural antibacterial properties, just wash down with hot water and a little bit of detergent. You also want to oil the board about once a month. T&G boards are very good.

Don't use a glass chopping board with decent knives, you'll ruin them, same with marble. Ideally use a wooden board (no they don't harbour germs especially if properly looked after and oiled). The alternative is the plastic coloured ones which are used alot in restaurants as you use a different colour for each food type.
