I am currently trying to embed a google map of our school on a "find us" page. Whenever I edit the page as html and save it, the html disappears. I could well be putting the wrong tags in so could anyone suggest how I could add the map or an alternative so visitors can find us? Thanks:confused:

Just as I think I have a grasp of Joomla I find that I was wrong! I am trying to find where I can change the contact us page in the Edugeek joomla 1.0 package but I am getting nowhere. I have a grasp of sections, categories and items but I still can't see where this blooming page is! Can someone put me out of my misery? Thanks

Thanks for this. One question I have is where can I find the smoothgallery that was in the 1.0 version? I quite liked those pop up pictures and the text popping up. Is it somewhere that I can't find or will I need to install that again? thanks:confused:

Hi all, My school is soon having about 60 macs installed in it by a third party. This was all agreed months before I started. I'm quite happy to be able to play with these bad boys but I am wondering what sort of things I might need to know once the installers have left and I am thenin charge of mac servers and imacs. Can anyone suggest a training course or qualification that might prepare me for these? Thanks

I have been in my new post for about 5 weeks now and thought it was time I tackled the shortcuts for staff on the program menu as most of the shortcuts are for long removed programs. There is also repetition with the likes of power DVD in each subjects folder rather than in a common tools folder. I can't find a way to make a program set (cc3) go more than one level deep! Has anyone found a way round this as the RM way seems a bit antiquated? Or has anyone found a way of delivering these in a better way while running CC3? Thanks

Seeing as we are going off topic a bit... TrackMania Top game for network play. And no shooting in it which keeps the SMT happy.

I think if 74 of them were playing the game then it was a bit late to be banning them.

I'm trying to work out how a block booking could be made on a room for all the lessons for one day, if that makes sense. For example if the library was closed for the day it could be done once instead of for every lesson. Anyone any ideas on this? Thanks:D

OK, I have had enough, it's time to come clean. Whenever anyone discusses a VPN I normally nod along sagely and keep my mouth shut. Can I jump in on this thread and ask what I would need to do just to start using VB script for logins etc. I am now in a CC3 environmet but in my previous life I used kix script for login scripts.

Why are some schools just for a 2 years? I don't understand what this would be for. I'm not having a go, just interested. Where I grew up there was one catholic school that had year 7 and 8 then they moved across to the only other secondary school in the area.

As I am still pretty poor at trying to work with and around CC3 could someone let me know how I am supposed to map a drive for staff so they can access the students work areas? There are currently no scripts running so I am guessing RM CC3 does it a different way but I can't fine this "easy" solution. Thanks
