  1. I've been dieting throughout October to drop a bit of bodyfat. It didn't go quite as well as i would have liked as got bored during 3rd and 4th week. Anywho, still managed to drop from 15stone 5lbs to 14stone 9lbs. More importantly though, now that the obligatory diet is out of the way, i can get back into 'bulking' 5 meals a day, 3500cals and plenty of lifting, woohoo!
  2. From what i've heard the new one (Genisys - Stupid name!) isn't quite within the existing timeline, instead it's more of a reboot-ish. Storyline sounds a little...interesting too: (SPOILER ALERT) Source - ‘Terminator: Genisys’ Magazine Covers; Official Story Details Revealed
  3. It most certainly does!! Avengers: Age of Ultron, May 1, 2015 Ant-Man, July 17, 2015 Captain America: Civil War, May 6, 2016 Doctor Strange, Nov. 4, 2016 Guardians of the Galaxy 2, May 5, 2017 Thor: Ragnarok, July 28, 2017 Black Panther, Nov. 3, 2017 Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1, May 4, 2018 Captain Marvel, July 6, 2018 Inhumans, Nov. 2, 2018 Avengers: Infinity War – Part 2, May 3, 2019
  4. Sony Xperia Z2 owner here and couldn't be happier. It's a corking phone!
  5. Mid-week update, how y'all folks getting on?
  6. The best Easter Egg was in Snake Eater when you face The End (the old sniper guy). Save the game, turn off your Ps2, turn it back on again, change the system date forward a few years, boot up the game, cutscene saying The end died of old age!
  7. While I adore the whole MGS series, the story itself has kinda turned into a convoluted mess. I still love them but generally have no idea what's going on.
  8. No doubt it would get a standing ovation...
  9. I'm a big console fan but I do think they will start to die out over the next decade or so (in their current form at least). I reckon they will go the way of movies and you will pay for a service rather than a console. With the constant stream of increased broadband speeds/reliability and the likes of Playstation Now and EA Access leading the way (and showing it can be done), I'm sure it's only a matter of time before we go down the Subscription/On Demand route. Also with Destiny being always online and still selling a stupid amount within it's first day, it just shows that people are quite happy with games requiring a constant interweb connection to play (ignoring the uproar MS faced with their original XBone plans). On Demand just seems like the logical progression.
  10. 15 tops according to the BBC but more likely 7 - 10.
  11. I don't need one of those...but i sure do want one! They're cool.
  12. Hasn't he just been cleared of the murder charges?!
  13. How dare you reply with a balanced, mature answer! This is a flame war don't you know.
  14. Could also use the Ampersand if you prefer which is essentially the same: =C2&B2&left(A2,1)
  15. To lose weight all you need to do it burn more calories than you consume. It's actually quite simple. Just start off adding some simple exercises to your daily routine and cut a few things out of your diet and work from there. If you've got a poor knee then I would certainly stay away from running for the time being. Stick to low impact exercises like swimming, cycling, cross-trainer etc. Start off slow and just build up. Anything from 30 - 60 minutes 3-5 times per week should be plenty to help burn some decent calories. Also make little bits of effort throughout the day that you would usually avoid i.e. stairs instead of lift, go for a random walk etc. It will all add up Diet wise just be sensible. Don't stick to some crazy low calorie 6 week diet because you will be miserable during and probably just gain the weight again afterwards. Eat little and often, plenty of veg and fruit, high protein foods etc. If you want to keep track of all your macros (macro nutrients i.,e. fats, protein, carbs) then download one of the apps and get logging.
  16. Cool, thanks! Always handy to have. I used to have a spreadsheet to record my daily intake (cals, fats, carbs and proteins) but think i deleted it arghhh!
  17. I'd be interested in having a butchers I hit back this morning. I love back day, probably my favourite! Did some deadlifts for the first time in a while too so was good fun.
  18. I'm stuck on 11 at the minute. Damn this game! Edit: Got it!
  19. Truer words are rarely spoken! Good luck mate
  20. My goal is a little odd. I want to get to the point where theoretically if i was 0% bodyfat (ignoring the fact that I would be dead) my BMI would still say that I was 'overweight'. Healthy/ideal weight at my height is between 59kg - 80kg. Theoretically at 0% now I would weigh about 75kg. That leaves me with 5kg of lean mass to gain! This is mainly just a way for me to track lean mass gains but it's also to help make the point that BMI is an archaic and essentially broken form of measurement!
  21. Niiiiice! Although I don't see a leg day...Edugeeks don't let fellow Edugeeks skip leg day! I'm in a bulking phase too and as of yesterday I'm weighing 15 stone 2 lbs (96.5kg) at 5ft 10. Will keep going for another month or two then do a bit of recomp to get the BF down and then bulk again! My routine is pretty similar: Monday - Chest Tuesday - Back Wednesday - Shoulders Thursday - Arms Friday - Rest (Unless i decide to go gym anyway) Saturday - Whatever I fancy, sometimes rest or if something isn't tender I'll hit that again Sunday - legs Currently eating 3000-3500 cals per day split over 4-5 meals. I'm getting there, slowly but surely...
  22. Righty reporting in! Right handed for everything generally except for eating. I eat like a left handed person for whatever reason.
  23. Sounds to me like the dealer did things properly. As Plexer mentioned, mismatching tyres is an MOT fail (generally speaking, there are exceptions). Besides that, it's just a bit silly. Your tyres are the only contact points with the ground, they're the only things keeping you on the road. Mismatching tyre sizes (and brands for that matter) equals mismatching levels of grip, fine for tootling around town but not so good for an emergency stop.
  24. Actually according to the manufacturer (Holts Tyreweld, as its one of the most popular choices): [h=4]Features[/h] Seals and inflates punctured tyres instantly. Water based latex formula does not damage tyre. Formula can be washed out using warm water prior to tyre repair. Eliminates the need for immediate tyre change. Source

    MOT

Definitely not! I ran my old car without an under-tray for a few years and it flew through MOT's (I took mine off intentionally as it was dragging on the floor).
